ridiculous we dont even get an option for preload... i really dont get why we should be punished from pre-ordering over steam while people can go to their local store and buy the fucking game..... this is nonsens....
Bet 95% of the people buying from steam bought it because of the option for midnight-release - not the skyhigh price....
I must have missed this option. |

I said it last night but waiting until, say 8pm, is just waiting 0.2% of the total time to game will be out before PCM16 is available. 0.2%!!! If you pre-ordered from a site that said "You will get the game at 00:00 hours on the 18th June" then complain. Otherwise it's just the 18th and it'll be the 18th all day. Omg i might have to wait an extra 20hours when this will be the game for the next 8760 or so hours...
Or play PCM14 whilst you wait, or PCM13 or PCM 12, you get the idea
But you can see the disappointment when a game is release at 18 june, you have too wait 18 hours after midnight to play?
In my head that is just stupid..Is the game not finished then? What else logical explaination can there be? |

Almost the same with me! But after 0000 I saw two movies in hope it would be released |

I am wiling to bet 95% of people bought it on steam because it is way more convenient and that most of those who pre-ordered really don't care that they can't play it at midday on a Thursday.
I think you underestimate gamers |

It`s a simple reason.
Steam updates their servers at 6pm British time.
And as 6pm on the 17th would have been before the release, they have to do it at 6pm on the 18th.
Easy. |

Well, if it somehow ends up in the Steam Summer Sales this next week I'll be really pissed I pre-ordered (:lol this game now. Pre-ordered with the thought of at least playing it now as a break from learning non-stop, and I do not have time to play it before Friday next week again.
And the Steam update thing can't be an excuse, other games can be released on other times as well
Otherwise, I wouldn't mind really... And getting a physical copy also failed this morning

This really surprised me.
I really hope for you that it's better than past editions and that you'll finally enjoy it again.
I believe it is. Here's hoping |

I'm 200% certain that Cyanide/Focus set that as the activation time purely as a giant f*ck you to everyone. There's no logical or valid reasons for them to delay it even 1 second beyond 00:00 in the first timezone to reach the 18th June. Every delay is preuly to f*ck with all of you to make you angry and annoyed. There is zero valid reasons for a delay. They've got your money and now they hate your guts so will do everything possible to f*ck with all of you.

I'm afraid I will get the blame if you don't like the game, isn't that true, Avin?

I have not surprised myself, i always complain and then go buy it like a brainless zombie.
Cyanide still havent managed to destroy my love for PCM.
I also hope i will not regret it, but hey, it is not a fortune, so i can take the risk.

Please just do me one favor.
Take the dog walking. You're not working anyway and it's still hours away. Just take your dog out and then at least one of you is having fun |

Nah, i know i cant get mad at betatesters as they dont have actual say about the outcome of the game. And i have not bought it because you or anybody else said it seems to be good ,because some people says it every year and reality is different. I bought it because world needs some hope

But is it now 7PM CET or 6? Does Steam update on British or UTC time?

Steam updates on one of the American time zones, seeing as it's Valve and Ameriacn company We just translate that across the our timezones, so in the UK it'll be 6pm but in other parts of Europe it'll be 7pm or 5pm or 8pm etc.

Is anyone else enjoying this thread?
It's like little kids on Christmas having to wait to open their presents. Only to realize that once they get to open them it's probably not going to be exactly what they wanted.
That's if Cyanide stays true to form. I like to remain optimistic, but I wasn't a fan of PCM14 so hopefully I can get a little more enjoyment out of PCM15.
I will be at work all day so won't get the option to start downloading it until I get home which means I should have access to the game by tomorrow evening and I'm okay with that.
