In my country PCM15 costs 899.95PHP less 10% on steam, that's roughly $20 in today's conversion and getting a physical copy is quite expensive. Maybe because you're buying a tangible material instead of a soft copy online.
Somehow Steam is the "trusted" online store for games here. After hearing about GOG.com, I wished that they have an Asian currency conversion like Steam did, so that we won't be paying in dollars anymore, because in this part of the world Dollar an Euros are the king and queen of currencies.

Hi, I was thinking of buying it off steam and then using the refund policy to have effectively a 2 hour demo. I'm not sure how well it will run on my PC as it only meets the minimum specifications.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience using the refund system and could tell me how easy/hard it is?

HI guys . I bought PCM 2015 from Steam and downloaded it - it works , great  But to play it , i must connect throught Steam every time , right ? Is there any way I will not depend on Steam ? Also , how can i use the in-game editor(quick editor) if the game automatically starts when i press play ? Any help will be much appreciated .

Go to the game folder.
There you have access to the editors and autorun.exe.

Nope, you can start Steam offline
So yeah basically you'd have to connect to Steam every time, but no need for an internet connection to do that.
Database editor is located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2015\DatabaseEditor
