I think a team representing the A-League or one of the A-League teams would be a good choice. Then definitely some other diverse teams.
EDIT: I see Melbourne Heart but I think one or two more can also be competitive in CT. Also they may be there but are the Brazilian teams like Santos, Flamingos, Fluminese and other famous South American teams there? Also agree on every semi-big nation's champions getting a spot.

I said I had the pack ready... But first I'm gonna release a surprise, and if I tell you the teams I have I would reveal the surprise! I honestly think you're going a bit far. Is a great project but it needs a lot of hours. I'm really sorry but I'm going out of this project. I will follow it closely but once I release the Football GFX Pack, I'll say goodbye to this.

all next suggestions will be considered but needs to replace one of the others.
if the other projectleaders agree we also can make the database with 10 extra teams. making it with 100 teams total |

No need to extend already. Just get us a good, basic DB first, I don't think a football DB ever succeeded on this site while it would be nice.
Oh just an example of the sprint formula:
Fifa sprint speed stat goes from 20 to 97.
Sprinting: 50 + (Fifa sprint speed - 20, devided by 2,5).
Bolly(97 pace, although prolly not in the DB) would be 50 + (97-20)/2,5 = 80,8 -> 81SP.
Could make it 52+(97-20)/2,5 if you prefer that, so the matrix would be a bit higher.
Might not want this as exact formula but just play with the numbers a bit.
For acceleration you might want to take the AVG of Acceleration & Agility, and build a formula for that, for example.
Although only ACC might be fine, since you might get SP/ACC differences otherwise. Hmm. Obviously this will take some puzzling.
Obviously Bolly would not be a well-rounded sprinter(bad on the hills, low stamina and stuff due to only having high pace on Fifa), just like Theo Bos in the MG, but that doesn't matter.
Even though Bolly's SP would be the highest of the DB, Messi(who would be Sagan like I guess, depending which Fifa stats you assign to which PCM stats) would always beat Bolly easily, of course

you're formula looks right, although i give bolly a +1
because bolly is than 82,8 --> 83 SP
and Messi -> 52+(94-20)/2.5 = 82 SP
bolly is really faster then messi so i would give him 84 because of the 97 pace |
