van der Breggen wrecked house today and really made things interesting. D'Hoore keeps her great season going. But, thanks in no small part to the teamwork of Worrack, Brennauer held onto the GC victory.
Great edition of the Energiewacht Tour, and the TV coverage was spot on! Hopefully more races will take up the task of broadcasting live.

Fact of the Day: More Women have signed up to take part in the USA TTT and Crits Nationals than Men. The events also give out equal prize money.

Awesome edition of the race (from what i read on Twitter, because of course there's no f*cking live video for a World Cup race jesus f*cking christ it's criminal). Hard racing, splits and attacks! Anna van der Breggen solo's across to the late attackers of Kneteman and Van Vleuten and out climbs them to victory. For clarrification Guarnier was on the podium, not Kneteman.

Sounds like a cracking race and i'm with TMM regarding some sort of live feed of this, can't work out for the life of me why a world cup race doesn't have this.

Indeed, she's in great form and recovered really well from that terrible crash at the World Championships.

You can very rarely go wrong with American races. The Womens Tour of California got off to a storming start yesterday with some great racing action. Katie Hall rode a fantastically strong final climb to win ahead of "WT" star Amialiusik. Komanski very impressive for 3rd.

Another lumpy day of racing. Kirchman with a brilliant sprint. Komanski showing real strength again for 2nd, way above expectations. Worrack makes a continued good showing for Velocio in 3rd. This moves Komanski into the leaders jersey with by far her best performances of the last two/three years.

Kirchmann, surprisingly, went back-to-back wins in the final Crit. Beating out Crit specialist Hannah Barnes and Erica Allar. But Trixi Worrack, who finished 4th, picked up mid-stage bonuses to leapfrog her way to th GC victory for Velocio-SRAM. A really great event this one was and i can see it becoming a regular and big fixture in the womens calendar.

Kirsten Wild wins the Tour of Chongming Island stage race, picking up 2 out of three stages on the way. It's an event with a surprisingly strong startlist but that's because the World Cup Tour of Chongming Island event is tomorrow. Wild won the race last year and has made herself the stand out favorite for the event.
Yesterday also saw Tour of California Time Trial which always brings out the best TT'ers in the States. Quite why it's only 10km long i don't know, it doens't seem worth it... Anyway, Stevens beat Stephens and Kristin Armstrong popped into 3rd place! Sharah Storey continues her pretty damn good time in Cali with 13th!

So i forgot to put the result here at the time... Bronzini beat Wild to the Chongming World Cup win, with Riberot a surprise in third place. I had Bronzini and Wild switched in my predictions.
Van der Breggen still ontop of the ranking and still Van Vleuten 2nd with D'Hoore third.
US ITT NC race was today and Kristin Armstrong shows how to do things, shes 41 and still kicking ass just like before her break from racing. I think that is super awesome and she is such a great rider

The Boels Rental Hills Classic is one of the bigger races of the season. A tough and very hilly route makes it as tough as, or tougher than, Fleche Wallone. Lizzie Armitstead claimed a strong victory ahead of Emma Johannson and Katarzyna Niewiadoma.
Meanwhile over in France there was the 1st womens Classique Morhiban. The fractured race being won by Chloe Hosking ahead of Pascale Jeuland and Eider Merino. I quite like the route for this race and judging by the racing today it could become a really cool event.

Surprisingly strong startlist for the Winston-Salem Classic. But what i love about this race is that there was some sort of TV coverage, yay! Amialiusik attacked on the last major climb to solo away to victory. Neben a good second, the 40yo is having a really good season, ahead of Lauren Komanski, who's also having a really good season.
A number of other big names were taking part in the Gooik-Geraardsbergen-Gooik. Gracie Elvin edged out Ellen Van Dijk to win, which was quite surprising but seemingly deserved. Hagiwara just couldn't match them in third place, she's had a great weekend with two podiums.

Canadian Double! Road Race yesterday and ITT today in Gatineau. Always attract good fields as riders warm-up for the World Cup race in Philly tomorrow.
Kirsten Wild wins the road race event but like with Chongming she might have used too much energy ahead of the big event. Numainville a good second place on home soil. Majerus impressive for third.
Carmen Small wins the ITT with a good gap over the rest. Karol-Ann Canuel and Tayler Wiles are 2nd and 3rd on the same time for Velocio!
