Aufrasian Championship Road Race
Cycling is at a low point in Aufrasia at the moment, with only 59 riders at the start line of this year's Continental Championships and only 3 teams bringing the maximum of 8 riders. Not even the local fan favourites Drapac send a full squad. The 59 riders look eager to get underway though, on this 275 km long stage. No real challenges for the riders, beside the 2 small hills. Orica is the top favourite to claim the victory here.
240 km to go
After a fast start in the first two laps, Orica is finally content to let 3 riders get away. They are Poorseyedi (TCS), Lloyd (LAM) and Al-Mohney (AND). They have a 2 minute lead at the moment.
200 km to go
The break has a lead of 11'30, and the peloton is not willing to chase them yet. They can't let the break get away too far though.
175 km to go
The break has gotten a maximum lead of 13'30 and now Orica takes the lead in the peloton. With Goss, Gerrans and Matthews they have 3 riders who could win here today.
150 km to go and 10'30
130 km to go and 8'30
110 km to go and 6'30
100 km to go
Only about 1/3 of the race left and Orica is sacrificing Matthews to chase the breakaway. The gap has decreased to 5'50 and with the pace that Orica is setting, it seems unlikely the break will stay away for long. Everyone is still in the peloton.
50 km to go
The lead of the break has dropped below the 3 minutes. Orica is still going strong, but the hills aren't though enough to give the riders in the peloton any problems. However, we have passed the 200 km barrier and some riders will start to feel the cramps in their legs.
40 km to go
A crash in the peloton. Most notable name is Krista Marcus. The critics sure will eat this up to give their argument that women don't have a place in the male peloton more power. Brown, Berhane and Hepburn are the other riders that crashed. The peloton is only 2 minutes behind the leaders of the race now.
15 km to go
The riders have entered the final lap of the race. More and more riders are getting tired now. The lead of the breakaway is now under a minute.
9 km to go
Al-Mohney is the last rider of the breakaway to be caught. Several gaps appear in the peloton, but no line has snapped yet.
5 km to go
Goss is in 2nd position now, behind Davis. Brookes has taken the spot behind Goss. Haussler and Gerrans are also close to the front.
3 km to go
Davis is still leading out Goss, with Brookes on his wheel. Abundi has come forward on the right, but he is already in the wind. He takes his place behind Brookes.
1.5 km to go
Goss and Brookes are still waiting with their sprint, while Abundi has come out of Brookes' wheel.
1 km to go
Abundi can't keep up and falls back, while Brookes, Goss and Kudus go head to head.
Finish
And it is Goss who takes it with an incredible margin. Brookes finishes in 2nd, while Haussler comes from far back and takes 3rd. Well deserved victory for Orica-GreenEdge here.

Merde... I was sure that I added them, but it seems not.
Do you want me to race it again Mr. Ollfardh?

I'll let Marco decide. Henderson could've been a contender here in my opinion.

My honest opinion on this: Stay with the result. These races don't have impact on the rest of the game and a reply would once again just slow down the game. I think it's not worth a replay but ofc it's Marco's decision.

As in small already in the screenshop-folder. Then I doubt there's anything sensible to do...

Around that. If enlarged it's ridiculously pixelated.

Sorry, I can't open excel docs but it was exported, so I will upload the file on weekend for anybody who wants to know if brewers came 11th. As you'll see the top 10 are in the report
European Road Race Championships
Start Line
We start water-side here in Melbourne for the European Continental Championships Road Race. The wind is with the riders for the descent/finish, across up the hill and into their faces on the flat part.
The Race
It's Salvatore Puccio (CSS) igniting the aggressive flames of the race with the first attack straight from the gun, marked by EPIC youngster Juan Pablo Asquez (CJR) and Austrian Stefan Denifl (IAM). Sky and Lotto Belisol seem to be controlling the pack, but it looks like they are letting them go, aided by Asquez's teammates defusing the situation. The trio gain a quick minute.
Up the first ascent of the hill the break are all taking pulls as they look to put daylight back to the pack.
As the pack reach the base of the hill it's another EPIC rider, Nicky van Drenthe (GIA), taking the initiative as the break reach two minutes.
Yes, van Drenthe and British Champion Dowsett (COL) have got a few seconds, whilst in the background Moser (CAN) and Thomas (SKY) try to stop them before they get much time.
A km or two later it simply wasn't meant to be as Moser catches them with an very aero descent. Meanwhile the three-man break is free, almost three minutes over the first crossing of the finish line.
Second time around status quo, it's almost all Cannondale whilst Sky and OPQS both have a single representative. Sagan (CAN) and Boonen (OQS) are both keeping in the front third, just behind the Cannondale train. The gap is at around 4 minutes as the break realise they attacked from the flag in a 274km race, but they are still gaining slightly.
Chute! Chute! Crash! Crash! It's Berg (COL) who falls, taking out Landa (EUS), Verdugo (CJR), De las Campos (EUS), Dimitrou (TNE), Moinard (OGE) and finally Feunard (CSS), who got the worst, going literally over his handlebars. We also see that Verdugo was protecting Martinez Machado (CJR), who was lucky to not go down. They lose three minutes on the pack, hopefully they are OK and can return to the peloton.
It's still the same riders doing the grunt work as the break cracks seven minutes and the septuplet who went down rejoin fairly easily.
As the break crack eleven minutes with 160km to go the pack finally get around the starting to narrow the gap. Meanwhile the break work in height order, with the taller Puccio and Denifl dwarfing the pure climber Asquez.
Another fall in the pack! This time it's Pellizotti (COF). He's brought down Vaitkus (OGE) but luckily nobody else is brought down, or perhaps more importantly, sees their new drafting technique. Ahh sorry, we're on radio too. They are in what one may call a compromising position, and I won't go into further details.
Vaitkus is making a habit of going down, this time it looks more serious, he's gone over his front wheel and came off.
With 100km to go the gap is at 6 minutes and the peloton are in a slightly sticky situation, if the gap keeps going like this it will be all together with 50km to go, and then everyone believes they can win. It's now the Lotto and Cannondale trains on the front, with the same dash of Sky and OPQS.
The pack is more organised now, with the gap fading fast but not too fast, as Belkin join the fun at the front.
Attack! It's Navardauskas (GRS) and if the pack let him get to the main break he could be very dangerous.
Cannondale are having none of it and Moser plays soul-crusher once more, sweeping up the Lithuanian with ease.
And with that pass increase Calzone is dropped! The pace on the hills to much for the Diva!
Simultaneously attacks! Denifl goes in the break, and Terpstra looks to get away from the bunch!
Puccio and Asquez easily mark this, and launch their own attack on the descent!
Terpstra is hoovered up whilst Puccio gets a gap to Asquez and goes, he knows Asquez can't descent well with such a small figure. Denifl attempts to follow and Asquez can't! It seems the youngster has cracked.
Game over for the young Basque now as Stybar goes! Czech Champion Zdeňek Stybar (GRS) attacks, and it seems Enrico Battaglin (CAN) is following! Thomas tries to defuse what could be a race-winning bomb! But Stybar makes it three upfront once more with 15km to go!
No, they are caught, all back together unless you've been shelled. All is quiet until...
Gilbert attacks! On the hill Gilbert (BMC) takes a flier with only 7km to go, Flecha (MOV) on his wheel! No, false alarm, he gives up at the sight of Battaglin and Moser steaming up the hill.
Or was it because of old pal Flecha? He goes again, this time solo, a km later!
30 seconds with 5km to go, the pack has no answer to Gilbert as we hit the descent, are the pack handing him this European title?
On the final straight he has 35 seconds!
Under the Flamme Rouge he has 40 seconds, it looks like a classic Phil victory!
And it is! Phillipe Gilbert is your new European Champion! He puts his hands in the air and takes a bow. Ladies and Gentlemen, your European Champion.
Sagan (CAN) takes the bunch sprint ahead of Cavendish (SKY), Gilbert's teammate Hanzen (BMC), Kristoff (KAT), Demare (FDJ), Sagan's lead out Bennati (CAN), Kittel (BEL), Cav's lead-out Boonen (OQS), and then Kittel's lead out Vanmarcke (BEL).
(...)
A very very very pissed-off looking Calzone is too disgusted by his team-mates' obvious, epic, monumental, universal, unforgivable, blatant, horrible, selfish, stupid and all-around severely unintelligent mistakes to make an effort for him to take a top 100 placing in his group
