that's what I don't get. the only thing that can stop him from winning it is crashing.
So what he should do for two weeks now, just sightseeing? He wants to win by biggest possible margin and be in every move possible. It is enormous exposure for Cannondale if nothing else...
Thnaks god for these type of athletes, that are not satisfied with what they have, but they want to achieve even more and win everything. Complete opposite of Schleckesque approach.
I don't know, actually winning a stage if he doesn't win a stage (in a sprint most preferable) but wins the points jersey. I don't find it a worthy winner, it's for the fastest sprinter and Sagan hasn't shown that he's the fastest sprinter. (like both points jerseys of Hushovd)

They are probably pissed, cause the breakaway didn't let Pineau come up.
So they have set their team up to drive them back in.
Or option number 2
The sports director is pissed that IAM didn't manage to get a man in the break, so he punishes them by putting them up in the front |

Reminds me a little of the Giro, team which didnt make the break pot punished by their directeurs. Seems a little odd to me... rather wait till the 2 stages in the Jura after the rest day which should suit a team like IAM. |

Love seeing Purito in breakaways. Go for that polka dots buddy, and take a stage win, or two or three. Take them all!
Sagan cool too, he's in it for the wheelie obviously, d'oh.

Im a huge Purito fan who want him to get a deserved GT win but do you enjoy him wasting energy?. What next Froome riding La Vuelta for KOTM?. Get outta here man. He would destroy Contador and Quintana at the Vuelta if he rode Poland and Eneco. He would be fresh and he is 35 so time is ticking
Purito will be fine man. He rode 8 stages without putting any sort of effort. Now he tries to put in an effort on two stages before the rest day. Big deal. He is just testing his legs, which is needed for him to get better towards the Vuelta.
Oh and btw. Froome will win the Vuelta.
Vuelta is not a cupcake to win. There will be Horner , Cobo and other oldies waiting for contract.
On serious note it will be brilliant I think. CONTADOR, FROOME, PURITO and VALVERDE will all be there.
Also certain mr.Quintana maybe?
Ya completely forgot. QUINTANA will be Froome's biggest enemy. We have yet another mouth watering GT on our hand once this ends. |

Contador need to attack today! Iam awaiting his attack allready on second last climb.
It's quite steep there, so it's not impossible
But I doubt he will do it. Even if he does manage to crack Nibali, then the Italian will come back on the descent, and then Contador needs to go full throttle again.
And if Contador just puts 5-10 seconds in on Nibali on the second last climb, then Nibali will be 30 seconds ahead because of the downhill. So Contador might need to push hard just to get back.
I'm pretty sure that Contador will make sure everything is back together around the foot of the finale climb, and then go full gas with Majka, Rogers and Roche - In that particular order.
I'm also looking forward to see the Sky team. Nieve will be especially important for Porte. Also Gadret will be hugely important for Valverde.
Downhill does not work like that it's not pcm game.
It all depends on amount of energy left in the end. Like in Tirreno when Contador attacked. Even group of 5 riders could not get him back over 2nd last climb, descent and then final small steep hill in stage 5 I think. |

Taaramae and Kwiatkowski in a breakaway. Tony Martin is also there to help Kwiat. Very interesting. |

Good: Yes. Great: No
Nibali is Great. Samuel Sanchez is Great. Peter Sagan is Great. Savoldelli was Great. Contador can't follow any of these if his life depended on it.
Tour De France 2011 Stage 16 Contador descended better than S.Sanchez.But Evans descended better than both.
Tour De France 2011 Stage 17 Contador attacked in the descent with S.Sanchez.
And I haven't got any offense to you.
I don't get the latter part... Do you feel offended by what I wrote?
No,I am just saying if you feel offended from my post you shouldn't feel offended by what I wrote.

That would happen if IAM didn't have a rider in the Kwiatek group. |
