There was no reason to write Greipel off. It was the first sprint he had a fair chance to compete in. But it's great to see him win! |

He has had the chance to compete in the other sprints but has messed it up, agree with you that it was a good win from him today

Did a great job surfing the wheels in the last km to come through. Hopefully the catalyst to push Kittel down the line, who apparently punctured at the death.

Beastly sprint by Greipel, pure class. As soon as he doesn't rely on his leadout, he not only cracks Top 5 for good but wins out right... hmmm.

Great win for Greipel, he did good without the usual big trains.
Meanwhile, Sagan increases even further his advantage in the green jersey. Only a disaster will take it away from him.

On stage 1 Cavendish crashed right in front of him, and on stage 3 his train was all over the place and he was too nervous to even be in the sprint. On stage 4 again his train ruined everything.
I know it's due to his own weaknesses but he really lost the sprints before actually sprinting. This is the first sprint he had a shot at. |

Pinot, Rolland & Nieve (if you wanna count him too) lost about a minute.
