Kittel is going to win all flat stages this year.

Perfect leadout. No problems for Kittel. Good job by Degenkolb and Veelers especially.
I find it admirable that a great rider like Degenkolb is okay with working for Kittel. |

Haha, shows the pecking order too.
Kittel doing his thing, impressive as ever.

Personally I fail to see how Kittel is pcmdaily's favourite cyclist So many more exciting sprinters like sagan, feillu, degenkolb, cavendish, and people picked kittel? |

Yeah its very nice of Degenkolb to not be throwing tantrums in like Bouhanni . Degenkolb will get his chances like on Wednesday in Arenberg. Démare doesnt look good so he should win that unless Sep/Cancellara/Terpstra wreak havoc but I feel the stage is not hard enough to drop Degenkolb. |

Well Kittel isn't my favourite (that would go to either Demare or Bouhanni at the moment) but it isn't surprising. Cavendish has been dominating Tour sprints for years now and finally someone is able to consistently beat him - that is a great breath of fresh air from a rider on a fairly popular team that seems to be more moral than others (now that I have said that they will have a scandal soon...).
As for the others you mentioned, sure Sagan, Feillu are more exciting but as far as pure sprinters go, you can only get so exciting... But how is Cavendish more exciting than Kittel? They do the exact same thing... Kittel is just taller.

Expect Costa to start riding defensively.

Demare went backwards as soon as the sprint started, I currently can't see him beat neither Sagan nor Degenkolb in Arenberg.
In comparable P-R shape, the only chance to arrive solo for someone else than them would be hoping that relying on team mates proves wrong for them, I can't see them being dropped on the cobbles.

Or Lampre will park a bus in front of the finish so nobody can beat Costa. |

I think Orica beat them to it by a year

We'll have to wait for Cancellara's opinion on this |

He beat cav 3 times last year (in the tour), and we were robbed of any chance to see them head to head this year. I wouldn't say he can consistently beat him yet |

Cav hasn't beaten Kittel since 2013 and even then its never looked like a case where both were going for the win, however several of Kittel's wins Cav placed in the Top 5 suggesting both went for the victory.
