No surprise there only 1 rider with Contador and the rest is gone on a stage that doesn't even have a "real" mountain.
I am almost certain now that Contador won't win the Tour.
Also Majka is gone lol i wonder wtf went through Riis and Oleg´s head when they picked someone who had a giro in his legs.

good argument..he has no chanche. You wont win a tour without a strong team. He should leave friends-useless cyclist home...and took few into form guys with him..like Zaugg |

FFS guys.
It might as well just be that they are being safed for harder stages. If Tinkoff Saxo don't want to put on the hurt, then there is no reason to keep all those guys in the front. |

I'm pretty sure Bennati, Morkov and Tosatto just couldn't follow

Dont understimate Bennati mate.
In the 40 man group they have now, Contador could easily have 5-6 helpers. I'am sure that they are just saving the help riders, because they don't want to drive hard at this stage. |

I wouldnt judge Saxo before the Vosgues. Let wait and see. I remember stage like this back in the day when Armstrong was completely isolated and then in the mountains, they stepeed up.

You know the biggest thing a team should do around a GC rider? protect him.
So please do explain how anyone can protect Contador if they are not near him.
Also hard stage? this is not even a real mountain stage |

Dont forget Hernandez, Rogers, Majka who was left behind ages ago and Roche.
Thats the whole team and no Dusen no team would ever leave their captain alone. |
