Sagan ok because I haven't asked so far but not Stybar.
Read the first post, read what the admins wrote here.
"We are working on it" and with "we" it is the admin team.
OK, sorry for avoiding the "official" way with Sagan, i will let you know if the permission is granted and i wont try the next ones myself.
But it would be nice to have this as "community project", as it is also better and more special for us to try and contact fellow countryman or favourite rider. I think Stybar and other czech riders would listen more to czech offer and it would not be lost in translation, but maybe it is just my point of view. Anyway, it is really nice idea.
Agreed. Better for Avin to contact them than some random message from random English site to appear. More chance of success. And also true about the community project of course.

You could ask if they're playing PCM

We will ask them whether they have played PCM, it's up to you guys to provide non-PCM questions

Then ask
"if you should choose, what will be our dream team"
"who did you see up to as a kid"
"why did you choose cycling"
"your best cycling moment/ your worst"
sounds like a journalist but theres many!!

To keep it simple: Make sure to consult with an admin, ideally Rin, before making any plans to contact a rider on your own accord.
We don't want to have the same rider being contacted more than once, and it is good to make sure that it is a fairly standard interview request going out, in terms of what we are asking for.

I will have a look into it.
After some time:
Well I am disappointed that some clowns think it's funny to send in stupid questions I simply have to ignore. Next time I simply delete every single stupid question. Do you think it's funny to make "jokes" that show how immature you are? Really...
To the "community project":
This is thought that you, not the admins, ask the questions.
As probably I have to think really hard for some questions to the non german cyclists if I would need to do one.
We are not going to send all 100 questions to the riders because no one will answer 500 questions, just wanted to say it. I think we are going to send around 12-16 questions (16 the maximum).
Also this is thought that it's giving some kind of inspiration etc. so I guess the admins will have to carve in so it looks like an interview and not like a random 12 questions about what they are doing at the moment.
Especially for the agent I thought there would be people interested how they got into what they are doing, what they are doing, what do you need to do to become a "uci agent" etc. as otherwise why would you have wanted "not just cyclists"?
Also a good tip before you send in any question: If you would be the cyclist would you really like to answer them?
I think it's a good guess that no one will answer doping related questions or questions where an answer would leave other riders in a negative light...

Oh, seems like you guys are getting this too serious. I mean, it's a great thing that you want to interview some of the most popular cyclists in the world and it's great that most of them wants to give us a short interview, but there's no need to be this serious about all of this. It's an internet forum, remember that.
Firstly, I know this message was intended to me & my comment in Tiffany Cromwell thread, which is "not funny at all". Okay, let's say it's not funny at all, but I was just kidding and you could just skip that question (I imagined that you'd be smart enough to take that as a joke and just to skip it) and ask other two who clearly were serious without posting this & without editing my post.
I agree that I am kinda immature boy. I just got 16 after all.

I don't mean you but for example questions like if they like cornflakes. Yes, we are really doing to ask that question in a limited amount we have..
Stick your jokes and stupid questions for somewhere else it would mean less work for us.

If you mean by cornflakes the question from me about cookies to Tayler Wiles, I suggest you take a look at her homepage, where she states clearly to the whole world that she loves cookies. I love cookies too. What's wrong to ask about cookies then?

Cookies are not cornflakes
Forgot to add in my post: Also questions those leading into a simple answer like typical yes/no questions are also not very much getting into the selection (unless they are really good) because with the limited amount of questions a simple yes/no answer is like waisting a chance.

Addition to Rins points above:
When writing something in those threads, keep in mind the possibility that the rider might look in the thread themselves. We are in contact with real people and they might want to check out the forum. Imagine coming through and seeing some really dumb questions (possibly offensive), its could to have a serious negative impact on our reputation.
I would also like to say some questions being posed are really good, interesting and different. Hopefully we can provide some other interesting people as well (expect some big name women later in the year)

I must say I'm a bit surprised and overwhelmed by the number of interviews.
I didn't really expect that many that soon, but well, I'm not going to complain. |

I completely concur, it is just stupid to post up something crude or potentially offensive.

I have to announce that there won't be any "user interviews".
Reasons:
- A lot wanted to ask over Facebook with their personal profiles which is just bananas (because 13 year olds or people with "good" pictures make a great look for us... not...),
- A lot haven't got any idea how they actually wanted to ask the riders for availability or even who to write (we are asking the riders' agencies at a top priority as it is the best way, also "every/any australian" is not a person)
- "Admins do the stuff and I send the questions" doesn't make any sense because no person will remember 2 e-mail adresses for 1 interview.
- No one has so far made any request per PM where I would say "That looks good, the person has made a lot of thoughts into that one and yes I will trust you to get XYZ"
Unless the last doesn't change, please focus on suggestion questions for the persons and requesting people who are interesting for you.

Can we have Greipel interview next? I'd love to read it during le Tour and the flat stages, and not long afterwards when there's no sign of him on tv.

Too bad, though I'm rather shocked then that PCMDaily interview isn't the highest priority for Greipel ahead of le Tour start.
