@Jesley Thanks. The TT was a joke, not winning against that opposition would've been really embarassing. For the RR, I wasn't initiating any attacks, to not exploit the "bug". But following those attacks was elementary, and in the end there was no question who would take the win.
@Admir Nah, not just yet. He needs to win a few monuments before we can dare call him that.
I attacked right from the gun on stage one, of course wanting to show off my jersey. I was the days only escapee, on a flat stage with loads of crosswinds.
We got a 1-2 thanks to a late attack from Henderson and our GC man Gallopin, while I took the KoM jersey, and due to bonus seconds also the white jersey.

Stage 2
Here, we wanted to take even more time with our GC man Gallopin ahead of the mountain, stage so I attacked with him, completely burning myself up for him.
The stage win was already gone, but we still took valuable time, as well as valuable points. The mountain stage would be tough though, we all knew it.

Stage 4
Surprise, surprise: I got dropped on the Green Mountain. Luckily only from the favourites group, but I still lost loads of time. I'm still in the top 20 in the GC though, thanks to the good advantage I had. Gallopin also finished close to the favourites group, only losing minimal time. Only the really strong climbers passed him in the GC: Froome, Caruso and Roche, who surprisingly finished much better than his team mate Contador, who in turn was in Tony's group for a long time.

Stage 5
We did our work in the early part of the stage, we had something planned...
On the first of three steep climbs, the peleton broke apart. I was the only Lotto rider left beside Tony in the 20 man group.
But on climb two, I was dropped too, and ended up in the company of Nieve. Now Tony would need to do it all by himself...
Which he tried. On the descent from the last of the three hills, he attacked the favourites, trying to take back 1'40" on Froome.
Meanwhile at the back, no-one else than Mr. Alberto Contador was with me. He clearly wasn't in full racing fitness yet.
I was too busy concentrating on my own race to notice this, but up front, Tony had formed a group with Roche and Gilbert. They managed to take about a minute on Froome, but that wasn't enough. At least he got past Caruso in the GC, but he wanted the win. A cunning plan would be needed to take another half minute on the last stage...

Stage 6
We tried the same tactic as on stage two. Due to strong winds, I was emptier pretty much straight after leading Tony out in attack.
And so was he. It would be a normal, reduced bunch sprint, and he would keep his third place, but wouldn't get the win.
And that's how the Tour of Oman went, my first race as a real domestique at Lotto. All in all, a succes!
@Ian I'm sure he will! It'll definitely make him more combatative, if nothing else.
@Sutty It really is! Just goes to show how slow everybody bar Froome, Roche and Caruse were on the climb. Though attacking with Gallopin and taking bonus seconds here and there helps of course.
Might get the opening weekend out tonight, if not expect it tomorrow.
I really don't think I need to give the profiles here, all of you know what the Omloop het Nieuwsblad. It's cobbled and hilly, but nonetheless, Greipel will be the leader, though if the cobbles should prove to tough, Roelandts will take over.
A familiar man in the breakaway today: My buddy Tony Gallopin! He might be a valuable domestique later on, and of course you can never discount the possibility of the break winning, so it's great to have an allrounder like him up the road.
For a long time everything was quiet. Then suddenly: Boonen is dropped! Trek and Belkin upped the pace straight away, while Quickstep did nothing. They obviously had their money on Terpstra.
Which the showed about twenty kilometres from the front. Terpstra, Cancellara and surprisingly Langeveld jumped. From the early break, only Tony and Kroon were still out front.
Of course we put everything we had to the front to catch them. After all, Greipel was still there, and most of the cobbles were over!
When they were swallowed up, Tony managed to stick with the move. We would have somebody in the mix for the win anyway, that much was sure!
We were furiously working, but would it be enough?
It would! In the end, we caught them!
We kept the tempo high, preventing other attacks. Greipel was now top favourite, and we wouldn't give away a chance like this!
Some guys started their sprint, very, very early, but we knew they'd burn up sooner or later, so Roelandts carried on leading out Greipel.
And surprise surprise, we won! Roelandts could even hang on for second, while I crossed the line without sprinting, but trying to keep near the front for a good placing, and crossed it in fifth! That was much better than I had expected!
@Sutty Agreed on both. The AI has been really, really strange so far. Take Oman. How can Gallopin podium there? That's just not normal. But the weirdest thing is, I played that on extreme, by accident. Switched back to hard now, but if results are still so good, I'll switch to extreme permanently.
Again, you know this one. You know the profile, you know what will happen. The game plan for us is clear: Maybe get someone in the break, but definitely we want the win here after the Omloop, and because this race is even better suited to him, Greipel will obviously be our leader once more.
I attacked from the gun, eager to show off my beautiful South African shirt to the world. Of course this would help the whole team out the back, because they could spend an easy day in the pack, waiting for our group to be reeled in.
Over the first cobbled section, I was still alone. Of course there's no team radio here, so it was a bit hard to come by information, because there was no team car behind me yet either. I could see some guys very vaguely in the background, but I couldn't tell wether it was the peleton or other attackers.
It turned out to be a group of attackers. We were quite a big group, but with no big names in it. You might want to note however that Lotto, Cannondale and Giant all had somebody in the move, so there weren't many sprinter teams left to chase.
As I said, a big group. With 40 kilometres to go, we still had a gap of about 4 minutes. So if everything went as was to be expected, we'd just about be reeled in.
Suddenly, the peleton slowed. The gap didn't grow, but it didn't shrink either. With 20 km to go and the gap still around 4 minutes, we knew one of us would win it.
We worked well together, but of course everybody was nervous. Coming in to the finale, I was safely on Stallaerts wheel.
Maybe I stayed there a bit too long, because everybody else was suddenly very far ahead....
I had left it too late. I still managed to overtake everybody bar Haas, but I had hoped for more. 2nd at K-B-K is still great, but from this group, I think I could have won if I hadn't mistimed my sprint so badly.
Again a 1-2 for us in the peleton sprint, but it was only for 13th.
@Steve (Hadn't seen it before) Yeah, Nico being the only one able to follow Froome on the climbs was great to see. I got a mail saying he's focusing on the Tour, a Top 5 doesn't seem impossible there if he can back up those results.
@Sutty Yeah, I hope he is. Mistimed the sprint horribly though, he really should have won, he was the strongest sprinter in the group.
@Martial He sure is!
Will probably bring out Le Samyn and Three Days of West-Flanders later today.
A mix of cobbles and hills, but could well end in a sprint. The way we planned it, it should end in a sprint anyway.
Things didn't go as planned however, with Garmin's Johann Vansummeren taking it following a late attack and our chasers being blocked up by the breakaway of thirteen that had just been caught.
At least that meant everybody was fresh and ready to dominate the peleton sprint, us taking places 2-6.

Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen - Stage 1
Profile
A completely flat prologue to get things kicked off. Nobody had any hopes for this, but we did want to keep Greipel and Roelandts within 20 seconds of the winner, to be able to take yellow through bonus seconds.
The stage was won by top favourite Wilco Kelderman....
... whilst I finished in an obscure 121st, 33 seconds off the Dutch top-talent. Still better however than my Roelandts, who lost 37 seconds. At least Greipel only lost 20 seconds, so everything is still possible.

Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen - Stage 2
Profile
Lightly cobbled, with a steep hill to finish things. That hill however comes in the last few dozens of metres, so the race should be finished in the sprint before that.
Coming in to the last 500 metres, with the break caught, we formed our leadout: Gallopin-myself-Roelandts-Greipel. To everyones surprise, the pack was completely disorganised, and we got a little gap. First Tony, then I, pushed very hard, to get maximum advantage.
Greipel and Roelandts crossed the line together in an act of friendship, while we all gained 36 seconds on the pack, which put Greipel in yellow and myself in white.

Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen - Stage 3
Profile
A stage very much like yesterdays, so the mission is clear: protect the yellow jersey, and go for the stage win with Greipel.
What should I say, we failed. 1km more and the break would have been caught, but this way it was very chaotic. Traksel got the win from the breakaway, while Greipel got fifth.

The race of the two seas meanwhile went even better for us, with Andre Greipel picking up a phenomenal three stage wins as well as a second place, taking home the points jersey in the process. I was part of his lead-out, and had a good race for myself, too. I finished third in both the young rider classification and the points classification, and narrowly missed out on my first stage podium.

Tirreno-Adriatico: Pictures
There was no stopping our German champion on stage 1, with Greg Henderson making it a 1-2
Same story on stage 2, just that I managed to take 5th!
Marcato put up a big fight, but Greipel made it 3/3 after all.
An anonymous day in the peleton as the breakaway took the stage and the leaders jersey
I was the teams best finisher on 7th as Nico Roche took the win solo on stage 5
Roche took over the leaders jersey whilst Tony could hang on to the next group. This was the first stage I didn't get points on.
Gilbert snuck away on the last few kilometres to take the win ahead of Greipel, while Degenkolb just about edges me out for 3rd.
