Well after a rubbish season we start to look forward to our next one, back down in the PCT. The first part of that is to see how our young riders develop, as everyone else seems to be doing these days. We would like to thank Oz Cycling Project for taking Victor Campenaerts for the season and Kappa-ENI for taking Eliot Lietaer. The kindness of both managers will certainly be remembered.
The new stat levels are:
Max - Joeri Stallaert, Romain Zingle, William Maesen, Mathieu La Lavandier
4.XXX - Tim Wellens, Kris Boeckmans, Guillaume Van Keirsbulck, Eliot Lietaer
3.XXX - Victor Campenaerts
As can be seen some of our riders are looking to go to maximum experience next year. We are currently unsure who we want to loan out, however, as some of them will currently be useful for a promotion push.

Well you'll definitely make our life difficult, especially with Stallaert and Wellens (again, how in the world did you get him that cheap??).

I still have no idea how that happened but it does mean his wage will always be slightly lower as long as he is with me thanks to that initial saving. I'm still 50/50 on whether to loan him out or not. I'm not entirely sure what experience he comes out as, but I don't think it will be close enough to max experience to mean that I can do it myself without riding a GT (which I might do anyway).
Stallaert should be solid at this level, being a better cobblestone rider than most and still capable of a sprint. Boeckmans is another interesting one. I picked him up for almost nothing and he is a PCT quality sprinter, but again he may not be able to max out if I keep him with me.

A very good stock of improving talents, yes they were too raw to strike even from breaks in the PT, but surely going to be strong in PCT. Particularly interested to see how your sprinters do, I can see BPost becoming a similar Pokerstars like powerhouse.

I should have gone more the Belgium way.
I always tried to go Benelux but somehow avoid the Belgium talent market.
Big mistake I guess.

You have some killer talents, that I would really love on my team:
Tim Wellens
Kris Boeckmans
Guillaume Van Keirsbulck
Joeri Stallaert
I am especially a huge fan of Boeckmans and Stallaert, but I also wanted Tim Wellens back when he was available for almost nothing, but I couldn't have both him and Lecuisinier. I would love to have him on loan though

Van der Hugenhaben Unhappy - What Now?
There have been rumblings in the Dutch media today which state that Dutch puncheur Robin van der Hugenhaben is dissatisfied with his team being relegated. He made statements today to the effect that he has no interest in riding "shit small races" when he should be riding the monuments.
It is understood that his current team BPost, with the move down a level, have little interest in keeping hold of him. "We would love to see him win in our jersey," team manager and vampire lord Count Arach told a local paper, "But the problem is we just don't think we are likely to see him win any time soon. He had more than enough chances throughout the year but didn't even come close."
Tensions have been running high behind the scenes with secondary sponsor the Vlaanderen government dropping their sponsorship for the coming season. The reduced budget likely means that more than one rider will have to be let go either during contract renewals or throughout the transfer season. "We are currently evaluating the contracts of all individual riders," the manager continued, "and while a handful of riders will certainly be staying with us in an effort to regain promotion to the top flight, there are a number of riders whose future with the team is by no means certain."

Sorry to see you go down, but it might mean some Belgians will come back on the market?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Not a lot of them I will probably be keeping about 80% of my team the same and most of the ones who aren't are likely to be non-Belgians.
