You see, PT managers are in fear already.
Good that Metinvest hates cobbled races. So that leaves hills only....and mountains.
Hehe I sold him Steurs, so he's not really chasing my league either

Thanks all for all the comments, much appreciated
@tsmoha Exactly, it was a gamble worth taking, even if we were in CT, we'd be in amazing position, now though it looks even slightly better than being in CT
@roturn Hehe, well I am sure you'll do equally well Yeah, hopefully the Vantomme deal works for both of us, but with so much competition if he can score half of his points from last year, I'd be happy
@tyriion Cheers mate!
@SportingNonsense If we don't promote I think I will shoot myself...
@DubbelDekker Yeah, quite surprised I achieved that to be fair, that was the goal before the season, but didn't think it'd actually happen
@Avin Wargunnson Well, everything comes at prize mate, we have lost Boswell and Morton in order to get such team. However with such good base set if we promote to PT, I'll be trying to buy lots of talents next year too if we promote that is
@Pellizotti2 Thanks mate Not to scare others further, but we still have Lijke, Maar, Vanbilsen, Serry and Armee who should score well as they did last year
@Rin Thank you master
@SotD Thanks, I am especially happy with Steurs, as much of our goals depend on the cobbled races, hopefully it goes well
@jph27 I think you did rather well too

Oh, so you are the reason I didn't get Froome
That's one hell of a team you've got there. Good luck. But, I don't think you'll need it

Vive la France
In the second year of the team its success has been recognized by the Tour de France organizers rewarding the team with the wildcard for the biggest race on the calendar. We can't be prouder and will do our best not too disappoint. Our team will be a mixture of youth and experience with the main goal of winning a stage which we believe at least three of our riders should be capable of.
See you in June and let's get ready to kick some PT teams asses

Curious to see what you will be able to achieve at TDF in your final PCT-season should be fun to watch, congrats!

Thanks Don't be so sure about promotion, without Lijke I am much less confident, but still hopefully we can both pull it together
Well with Baugnies, Maar, Steurs, Coquard and Vantomme I think if the PCM gods decide our team is worthy of a train - we have a chance, on one of these flat stages with Vantomme on +5 it might come together
Marquez I pray to god go for stages and king of mountain jersey, but that is likelier to be won by a shitty hilly guy, so just trying to get a stage would be enough.
Froome will have no expectations, but one or two hilly stages could suit him. De Maar should be a great rider for breaks too.
Overall, a stage win is all I am asking

If Vantomme takes a stage win there and Marquez will be stronger than my leader there, then I regret trading Vantomme.
Congrats on that wildcard. Awesome line up and might be one of the strongest even though without the very best GC chances. |

Well, Keizer will definitely do better in GC for sure, I don't have any hopes for GC anyway so hope he goes for stage wins instead. Vantomme though I do fancy to do well hopefully, but we'll see. Long time to go
The transfer season is slowly coming to a close, but we did a few late deals in the last week. The biggest signing might be Gianni Meersman, bought for 200k from Puma-SAP. He's a perfect flat domestique that can also help our team at cobbles making him a great addition at a fair price.
We also added to our hilly department, signing Adoni Blazquez, a 74 rated puncheur will add some nice depth into our hilly classics department, due to his high sprinting stat he could surprise with few nice results too. Yoann Barbas adds some depth into our climbing department and should be useful addittion to help out Marquez, our trainers believe he can still improve in coming year or so which we look forward to see.
We also signed a talented sprinter, Woutter Wippert who can develop into one of the better sprinters in cycling. We also managed to sign a stagiare, Florian Scheit who we look forward to guide in the chaos that is pro cycling.
Here are the stats of what our trainers belive these two could achieve in near future:
Wouter Wippert
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 70 | 56 | 67 | 59 | 75 | 70 | 80 | 61 | 78 | 82 | 58 | 67 | 67 |
With great support stats he'll make a great leadout at PT level with some flat training necessary, however he'll make a great sprinter for PCT and CT straight away, for now though his future lies with Quickstep.
Florian Scheit
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 67 | 69 | 76 | 58 | 75 | 71 | 67 | 50 | 66 | 71 | 75 | 65 | 57 |
Similar story with Scheit, he has great back up stat which will make him a very decent domestique, however he could also lead in CT and some PCT teams in the near future.

Well, no rider is guaranteed a contract with our team longer than a year due to unpredictability of transfer windows, so definitely you'll have a chance to sign him next year or so

Would have loved him as well, but as I already have Groenewegen and van Poppel I'm quite maxed out in Dutch sprinter talents.

Aye, those two will be amazing sprinters for you, I actually didn't know until few days how good Teunissen will turn out! You certainly have few great gems in your team. Next year if we get into PT we'd possibly like to loan Teunissen
to max him out for you, your 2016 team will be definitely scary!
Tesfom Okbamariam
Our second stagiare is someone I don't think many expected, it's an Eritrean youngster. With outburst of African talent one of our scouts spotted one in particular in training in South African race, Tesfom was unlike other riders present there, strong on flat and undulating terrain we decided he could have some potential on cobbles and decided to take a risk and sign him as a stagiare.
He's been training with our team performing many tests and we think the boy indeed has some talent, maybe he won't win Ronde or Roubaix, but certainly could be a very decent rider. Here's what our tests shown he could be capable of in his prime:
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 73 | 66 | 65 | 59 | 70 | 73 | 67 | 76 | 72 | 68 | 65 | 77 | 59 |

2014 Team: Loanees (Part 1)
As transfers have finished - our team for 2014 is finally confirmed. We'll take in parts to show our rooster and no better start than with loanees into and out of a team this year.

Marc excels on climbs, but equally so in time trials making him excellent and complete stage racer, as part of our Festina deal Marc will learn the trade this year from the best, helping Spilak and Ricco will be one hell of experience for the young Dutchman.
Marc Goos training stats as well as our internal tests show that Goos could become a complete stage racer, here's what we think he can achieve in his prime:
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 71 | 77 | 74 | 76 | 78 | 76 | 77 | 56 | 67 | 73 | 72 | 68 | 76 |

Nick has been our best young rider last year taking two HC wins, troughout winter we've done extensive tests and decided that a year in PT would be very valuable. We judge after a hopefully successful spell in PT, Nick could come back with such stats:
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PL | 74 | 63 | 73 | 66 | 73 | 71 | 78 | 65 | 79 | 79 | 65 | 63 | 68 |

Bryan loaned from Festina was part of our Goos deal. Bryan is a talented sprinter who will be one of the main helpers for Vantomme this year. The plans are not finalized, but Bryan could feature in our Tour squad.
* Thanks to Kami for the general rider's layout *

While a perhaps a gamble now, to loan out Van der Lijke, i'm pretty sure it's the best thing to do in the long term. I can also imagine a few Dutch teams being very interested in your young riders when they're maxed out.
No problem for the layout, it takes some time to do for each rider, but it's worth it.

Thanks Kami Indeed, you are right. No point wasting one year of Lijke development on hope he gathers more points to win the division, he'll be much more useful for us next year. And indeed, only three though, I wish I had more
Thx viking90, he does look a very rounded rider. Very much like Bibby actually

Jérôme stays with the team for another year after a moderately succesful first season with the team. He'll be hunting for more wins with Dunkerque and Battenkil prime targets. With better support this year Jerome should be well in the targeted races and if all ends well he might be racing in Ronde and Robauix next year.

Chris offers something we very much missed last year and that was a leader on for the hilly classics and stage races. We had a very good support, but no leader and this time we filled that gap with the perfect rider for that role. Chris is arguably the best puncheur in the division and there will be big pressure on him to perform this year.

And I reinstate my interest in your promotion to get van der Lijke out of the division before Demare enters it

Good to see no Froome in three of my goals in Tropicale Amissa Bongo, Strade Bianchi and South Africa.
Beijing and Ster ZLM as well without Chris, quite happy with Ben Nasser's choices now.
