Bellis Storms To First Win
Johnathan Bellis hit the field for six with an impressive performance in the Gp Ouest Plouay this week, the Manxman attacked the field with 15km to go before bridging to the break and attacking them and soloing to victory in the process. The result moved Bellis to being the 6th best placed Punchuer in the lastest rankings and with 5 more races to go gave Bellis a chance to crack the top 5. The result also goes part of the way to justifying the managements controversial decisions to avoid the tour of Britain for bellis in order to take part in 4 one day classics instead starting with Plouay and then taking in Zagreb - Ljubljana, GP Quebec and Milano-Torino management said "Bellis point scoring capablities we feel will be put better to use in one day races then a stage race has impressive stamina can also be put to good use in these events and we feel that was vindicated at Plouay."

2015 Equipment Reveal
Nat. | Brand | Equipment | Details | | Argon 18 | (Frames) | 2015 Gallium Pro RBC Edition / E-118 Next 2015 RBC Edition designed by KenL | | Bontrager | (Wheels) | Aeolus 9 D3 Tubular / Aeolus RBC Disc Test Edition Designed by KenL | | Giro | (Helmets) | Giro Aeon RBC Blue / Giro Air Attack / RBC Limited Edition Giro Selector designed by KenL | | Salitia | (Clothing) | Salitia 2015 Performance Range Designed by Deksel |
After weeks of design devlopment with our lead designer Deksel at Salita the new 2015 RBC Pro Cycling Kit has arrived.
With a change of colour scheme slightly from our usual Blue to a more White based kit the jersey also features the return of the RBC lion from the 2013 design and paying tribute to our heritage with the Alstom 2012 design by including the thin lines from that design.
With the national championships obviously not being run yet their are no National Champions jersey being revealed until a later date. |

New jersey looks cool. Nice sponsor continuity, and I assume rider continuity given your strong regional focus - you have some strong riders under development and out on loan so I expect the squad quality to step up significantly into next season. Gonna make life difficult for the teams coming up from CT as many of the PCT teams (RBC a great example) continue to strengthen organically.

I was considering going for a more "white-ish" look for Oz's new shirt, too. I probably won't, but this one definitely looks cool. Loving this Sports Day-thingy on the sleeves.
Since I've always been a fan of Vancouver and Canada, RBC is definitely a team I will keep following closely

Yeah I got a bit bored of working out weather it was my rider or a Alianz rider this year it needed a full change really just so I could see the team a bit easier haha. With the sports day thing, it just kind of came up on the RBC website same with the British Airways connection and both fit well to replace Alstom and BIC as sponsors as we kind of usher in a new era.

Glad it's well liked and I think we could be getting an updated helmet at some point too as this is our last year at the moment so watch out for that.
With regards to promotion I've updated nearly every man-game team for next year if all exp updates to plan and I see us only being around 15th so it could take a big up turn in the squad for a top 10 finish but do able of course

Sponsor Continuity is one of the things I love about the man-game compared to real life being able to side with a particular team for years is always cool like HTC back in the day. The squad quality should be a big increase in terms of Average we go up from 71.29 to 72.73 next season without any transfer still a bit behind the lead promotion pack but a nice improvement for sure. With regards your team in particular though with Ocho Quintero and Beltran(who will be a top leader even at Lvl 4 next year though he may have to go on a PT loan) you have some trading pieces or actually riders of quality to when you add good domestique like Golas, Fonte and Zabalo I can see you being in good shape come next year. |

Interesting to see you calculated that too!
My new average pre-renewals will be 72.64, although that's over 28 riders, so it should increase by quite a bit before transfers and hopefully even more after
Just in case that's interesting for you, Quickstep had 72.06 this season, Vesuvio 73.31.
(if you want a better approximation of your team strengh, you should probably only take the top 10 riders which would mean 74.82 in my case)

It's exactly one of the ones I find the most interesting a fun one for you is Compal who will get relegated will start next season with a average of 72.50 if you take out the 5 worst riders who are useless to anyone guaranteed promotion favorites IMO even when looking at all other relegation rivals excluding possibly Kenya if they were to drop. And I hit 74.02 on top 10 riders the only problem we will have is a lot more Lvl 4 riders then most would like a think a few of mine may have to be used as trading bait rather then the standard PT loan. |

Then may i point you to a different team
@jt
Like the new jersey design. Simplistic and classy. Nice color scheme etc etc. I hope we battle hard next season in the same division and boost Canada to the top levels

Apart from you stealing our fans I really hope you stay up this year though i'm very pessimistic about that at the moment unfortunately In the future we could have a Canadian team qualify for the worlds on it's own ranking and not just because of hosting |

You got Demare and this is the season he is most likely to go ever I think, once he is maxed he'll stay but depending on what comes in for him this year it could be the year to cash in on him, still that's quite unlikely but not impossible like it was last year. Boily on the other hand is set forever now. |

Exactly, I got Demare. A top class dual threat needs some top class dual threat leadouts
I mean what's the point of surviving all hills as the best sprinter around if you're forced to open up the sprint from 2.5k out.

Very true you might have to get Grega Bole from free agency instead though if that fails though there around 20 other riders who could do the job haha |

As if those 20 other suited riders were any easier to buy out of their teams than Houle though

Haha there's one or two that would be easier to get a level down though then there's the one from free agency who would be available but you'd have to pay a pretty penny for.
Spoiler feel like i'm talking in code now haha |

Well, there is future one in my roster and he will be sold for sure (of course if the offer is good enough).
Anyway, very nice kit for RBC for 2015, i like that you continue with your sponsor and development of Canadian cycling, as one of my favourite former D2 collegues. (i dont like much teams that switch sponsors almost every year).
It reminds me of the fact that i should start looking for new shirt too.

Another Frenchman would fit perfectly for the TdF, but that nationality likely means a lot of opponents and a bidding war...if the opportunity arises I'll definitely have a look, don't you worry.

For sure the amount of french teams compared to one I started the man-game is actually ridicules I like to think I started it off back in CTDIV2

The continuity is fun hopefully Canada can continue to develop with one or two ok riders year on year coming through then I will be happy, I just know at some point I will have to let one of the good riders coming through go to another team.
D2 guys are the best that time was o fun even if it was just part time I think we all had a great time and it set us up for the man-game perfectly |
