@ all: So be it: Baguil and Ayala renewed, the Colombians out
And ready for a second season! Starting with...
Key Stages
Stage 1 – Flat
First racing day for the team and first sprint for our new recruit Blythe. And his 1st win!
Stage 2 – Hills
Terrible stage with an incredible domination of Colnago who scores a triple.
His leader Pozzovivo ceases the lead and being the best rider of the best rider of the field will be hard to beat. For sure he will not be challenged by our leader Dal Compare who lost more than 5’ after a fall in the final.
Stage 7 – Mountain
Dal Compare benefits from his poor GC classification to attack at the bottom of the last climb. Pozzovivo let his team mates do the job and the gap is increasing. After he only counters his rivals attack and pass Butler in the final sprint… 1’15 after Dal Compare who is back in the 3rd place in GC.
Stage 9 – Mountain
Last mountain stage and Dal Compare is feeling incredibly well. At the bottom of the last climb he accelerates at the time the break is joined and gets free. Behind Pozzovivo imposes a strong tempo that only Butler can follow. But the pace remains stable, Butler relays but Dal Compare is still getting the win with a 2’ gap. He is now pretty much insured of a podium and back 1’ behind Butler (still more than 7’ behind Pozzovivo who has won the race for long already).

Dal Compare and Blythe once more very nice. About Langkawi: Woaah, what a feast of stage wins for the team.
