Normally I don't bother reporting bike thefts from teams because, quite honestly, they are just so common. But this is extraordinary:

They are fantastic if you are not supposed to ride them with 50km/h

Cancellara has announced to retire from cycling after his actual contract.
That`s after teh 2016 season though. So still 3 seasons with him. |

If you want PURE Climbers, look in South America. The problem most of these riders have is that they're not good enough on the flat to compete in Europe. Most would get dropped in every flat or hilly stage
Oh, I forgot the first Kenyan TdF winner (in a few years) : Chris Froome

The Pompeiana might be scrapped from Milano - San Remo this edition. It has been deemed unsafe due to the absence of guard rails. Italian source:

Couldn't find it in English though

Costa is really taking this GC thing seriously, he's ridiculously thin

Picture of Chavanel on his TT bike for those who don't get it.
A few noticeable details :
- his forearms are quite high above his front wheel, think of the pic of Quintana the other day for example : much lower
- his front brake calipers are apparent : lots of drag
- his torso is far from flat, and quite high as well, all in all that's probably not the most efficient looking TT pictures I've seen this year
- his rear wheel axis lever is at ~45 °, that's certainly generating more drag than a fully horizontal one
- funny thing : the lower tube of his rear fork, see how it comes back to the crankset
- while I'm there, that's quite a strange box above or around the crankset. Probably hosting the electronic shifting battery as well as increasing the rigidity in that area
I'm the first one to mock Sky's thin margins propaganda, but IAM (and Scott) seem to have room for improvements there.

On one hand I kinda gave up on teams being smart when I saw Spilak TTing at the ENECO last year with a road helmet
On the other hand a friend of mine who is close with Machado and raced with him in the junior ranks told me that Machado says there's basically zero difference these days in methods between WorldTour and tiny national teams, other than budget limitations.
Says that sure someone can come up with an innovation, but others will copy immediately because "riders talk", and even if it's somehow kept secret, everyone will know at the end of the season when staff members switch teams
In short, I have no idea ouate de phoque is up with Chava's bike there

Speaking of not giving a rat's ass, I just read an interview with Andy Schleck where he said he could've been just outside the top 10 at the Tour but he "would've had to dig deep to do that and I didn't want to do that"
....
The dude is beyond help

Is it a race picture or publicity photo? Is that his regular bike with a couple of TT wheels stuck on it? |

It was on his twitter so I guess it's from Tour Med's TT stage. |

Just watched a documentary on Andrei Tchmil. Hated by everyone, still managed to win San Remo, Ronde and Roubaix. Was good to see 90's cycling again!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
