Don't think I'm the only one you're waiting for, but my coach decided to organise a surprise friendly match for today. So list will come tomorrow afternoon

A team with a high budget would also do the trick, it's only you-know-who he cares about.
Edit: Same registry date.

@Welker
You got one of the Top20
@knockout
No specific deadline, because there is no rush to kick off because of the Holiday season
@Jesl
Budgets were decided using a scientific method. But yes Belkin did get caught out by it a bit, while Movistar are laughing
@All
Draft order has been made and the first few teams decided. Waiting on the final three lists to finish it off.
so far 7 first choices but 2 people 6th choice or beyond at the moment.
Some people going for strength and some going for budget. It evens out fairly nicely

Just missing Knockout (coming this afternoon) and Marco (eta unknown) for teams now... Marco is the slightly more important list, because it will unlock several chains of drafting. Knockout a bit lower down so doesn't cause such a big queue.
Will release one of the more interesting Transfer related pieces later today/tonight... With some discussion stemming from it

That is the Transfer Thread! TRANSFERS ARE CLOSED!
Give it a read and make sure you understand the various aspects. There is plenty of time to ask questions and discuss the rules and ideas in there.
Especially the Free Agent Sale that you guys control. Something you managers are in almost full control of, at least more control than i have over it.
Also i will be posting the full list of Teams and Managers this evening. Some interesting lists made for an interesting looking draft.

Why the 50% resell thing?
It caused confusion last time(because of rider swap + money thing)
I see no reason for it anyway
But sounds good
Is there a limit on the number of riders?

The 50% is to try and prevent things getting overly complicated and to make people think about their purchases.
The confusion with Part-exchanges is cleared up. If a rider was used as Part-Exchange the 50% limit does not apply until after they have been sold as an individual rider (cash only deal). And they cannot be re-sold as a Part-exchange deal. If you're still confused about it, ask some more questions and i'll do my best to answer them clearly.
Limit on riders... Still thinking, as it may relate to Race Day limits which are as yet unconfirmed. But it will probably end up being limited to 30riders maximum per squad. Details will all be confirmed before Transfers open though

30 riders might be a tad low though.
Since every team already has 28-30 riders. And some teams will certainly have more riders than they had after the transfer period, that's normal.
Adding the free agents(whom you can have f.e. 3 extra after 1 betting round if you are very lucky/unlucky), and you are going to have a serious problem
Also, I saw both Knockout & Marcovdw online. Have they sent their lists now?

Are we allowed RL transfer tactics such as "on loan"?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I can understand the 30 rider limit though. In practice pretty sure we do not need to have much more than 30 riders for a season. It does depend on race days and such I guess.
This of course is nothing like real life so difficult to compare - it is literally just 22 teams in the entire sport of professional cycling so I guess mega teams may be more the norm!
Still may be nice to have a limit to prevent greedy hogs - if there was a limit perhaps an option to sack a rider may be needed for those that go over and need to get under at the end of transfers.

@Jesl
It's the same number of race days as a normal WT calendar, so provided people don't go insane there should not be a problem of too few riders. Obviously if i do set a limit at 30 riders i will include some way for people to "release" riders so they fit into the limit.
Also Marco sent me his list, and it made some serious changes to what i was predicting! Knockout still to submit, so things could shift yet again...
@Rider
Thanks
@Ollfardh
Nope, only Transfer. No "On Loan" or any bollocks like that. Of course if you arrange it privately between the two teams that Rider Y will be sold back for season 2 i can't stop you because i would not know.
As long as the Transfer meets the rules layed out!
@Smowz
Of course you are correct in everything. This is not real, and in similar games in the past there have been huge squads (usually created by myself actually). But as i've said i am more likely to put in a limit on team size at 30 riders. And if i do there will be some set up to "release" unwanted/extra riders from the squad.
I can say that there will be no minimum squad size, you could sell half your team for all i care. Just that you will then not be able to send a full team to all races, and miss out later on in the season. My guess would be that a minimum of 25 riders will get you through the season. Less than that you are playing dangerous, and even then 25-26 is borderline. There will be 40 more riders in the system so all Teams can fill out to 30 riders, which would be my recommendation.
