Phinney must be crazy expensive next season, with that TT stat. He should be winning whatever he wants next year.
Hasn't he always been 83 in time-trial?
Yeah probably. It was more into the PCM version fancying top TTers to an extreme I meant

Another nice effort from Stake Laengen. This has been a great race for us, eventhough we'll barely get any points from it.
Quite surprised to see Phinney forced to let Gesink and others let go on that mountain stage. Suddenly it looks like a tight one between the American and Gesink. Brajkovic shouldn't be far off the pace as well.

I need NK to stay away in that stage 3... this is not going to be enough. At least if I can keep Pluchkin I can win A LOT of races next season

You can have both Contador and Fothen for Pluchkin. That way you'll be right back up

Oh man that sucks.
Fothen luckily not involved this time. I think it's the first time he ever dodges a mass crash.

Wow the two usual victims Fothen and Gesink avoid the crash.
Pretty interesting how this will play out now as Koeniggsegg could outscore Wikipedia here - even Pearl Adidas and we remember that Bakelandts still has Lombardie to come could be in contention.
In the sprint must have sucked seeing the Swift misfire - then I suppose a lot of managers have the feeling of dissatisfaction there.
In many ways a bit of Karma with Wiggle and Bacardi (though of course way too late for them) getting on the podium and of course the masters of sneaky sneaks Pendletons.
Typical Van Heerden clueless and luckless - he has one chance in the next stage to show his worth.

Ok then, my climbers really have to have a really bad luck this season in almost every race...
Congrats to alexkr, Gesink will win this.

That crash may have helped Dan a bit but Siutsou and Gusev losing time could be pretty costly points-wise. |

Wow, that was a pretty wild shake up. Nice to see Schumacher back in the top ten, but it could have happened in a better way.

Gesink avoids another crash? He's on fire
But as a manager whose riders get involved in crashes pretty often, I feel for the guys that lost time today.
@Roman, don't be so sure. There's still a flat stage left. And this would be the first time in ManGame's history where Gesink would take 2 big wins in the same season. So, I don't know...

How is it too late for Wiggle? I'm glad for every point to keep me away from that relegation battle.
It was very much a case of silver lining stage! Great for Blythe to win a stage, but Scarponi was going ok.

Rough to see the crash, but i've seen far worse. Phinney is still well poised for a top 10, and i'm sure Pearl and Koeniggseg have had some poor luck at times this season as well. Just didn't anticipate losing ground in this race and could well cost us the title.

Disappointing sprinting from Vanoverschelde, especially on stage 6 where he had a golden opportunity.
Looking forward to the decisive time trial, Brajkovic on a great daily form is probably the only one that can stop Gesink from winning this. Thanks for the reports, SN! |

Marc Brus tried. He tried and he failed. Horribly.
Oh well. Just the TT to go. 3rd place seems up for grabs for Fothen.
This is probably the last good race of the season for me, so I need every bit of luck I can get.

Typical performance by Van Heerden squeezed out of the sprint.
Wait WHAT!!!!!
Yippeeee..... Very impressive performance to outsprint Swift, JVH will receive a contract offer after all
Mohs utter garbage.
@rjc: I wasn't clear I meant for Barcardi only on stage 6.

@alexkr Well, the only possibility left how Gesink couldn't win this race is a really bad daily form for him and a really good one for Brajkovic. Gesink will take this. I believe.
Nice sprint by Howard and 9th place, it will be nice to see him sprinting the next season, when he will be fully maxed.

Ahah! I think more a misread on my behalf!
Blythe had me going again then, but it goes to show just how badly a sprinter can fade if they go too early. Still another 5th is another result.

Desastrous Deutschland Tour... With tomorrows 30km+ ITT de la Fuente will loose probably a lot of places at the GC.
Also Bonnet sprinting at every sprint instead of Ciolek limited pretty much the chances of winning a stage. But 3rd from Bonnet.. ok^^
