Right Brewers90 is in so we just have 2 more spaces left.
People who are already in may want to plan ahead and start thinking about the 9 riders you want try and sign come the draft, currently there are 12 screenshots of the eligible riders in POST 5. |

Holy f! Those stats are wildly different to what i was expecting... bollocks
So we are working off the Daily 2013 DB for PCM12? Not the Daily 2013 DB for PCM13? And playing on PCM11...

Hmm, I don't like the riders we can choose from.
The guy who manage to get Rodriguez will win the classification, way too easy.
The differences are a bit too big IMO

You probably missed the 1st edition: I won the GC, but not the final rankings

But that was TDF... Vuelta 2012 with 35 MTF's and -200km TT is a totally different thing...
You win the GC here, you will be Top5 Points and KoM, and probably win the Combination as well. And that is going to be almost impossible to top.
That said there are three people who could do it (Evans, Sanchez and Purito) but really it's only the Spaniards when you take into account Nationality bonus.

Does the nationality bonus even exist? IIRC there was a topic about it on the Cyanide forum, where Cyanide said they didn't know.

Well you should be happy-ish with this post.
Joaquim Rodriquez is no longer eligible. I have just removed him from post 5 as there were no rider with an overall average of 59 or below. Sorry everyone for this screw up.
But I was sure that there was a 59 AVG rider.... After double checking the stats 'Luis Tavares' at AVG 60 is the lowest eligible.
So now if anyone picks Flecha @ 80 AVG come the transfer draft they must have Tavares in the squad.
So yeah once again sorry for this screw up but it is probably a good thing as Jesleyh says, for more of an even competition.
EDIT --- Now all eligible riders have been added in post 5.---

It should, in DYN_Cyclist there's a collumn for 'Nationalism', so i assume that's it.

Allright then. And with Voeckler & Scarponi added it gets a bit more even.
But hold on..
Voeckler is AVG 80 as well...
@Dippofix I wonder what my number would be

Thats to do with National Team...
All there is in DYN_Race is the nationality of the race. Yes no-ones sure but i certainly believe it has an effect. I always see the Italians do better in Italy, French in France, Spanish in Spain...

Come now. Other than giving Horner a slight stats increase and perhaps lowering Evans (although he did finish 2nd in the Giro) and Flecha, I don't see that many issues.
Also from what I have seen, whilst watching Brewers video story, the AI in PCM2013 is very erratic/ strange compared to PCM2011 which doesn't have a load of issues. |

Hmm, the AI is quite good to me in PCM 2013. Brewers just had a team with strange stats

I ask for actual confirmation. What DB are we using? Specifically

The same as the T.O.T.C 1: the following will be used by me:
PCM 2011
2013 database adapted by Atlantius for PCM 2011
(the stats not massively different to the recent release of updated stats)
Leipheimer, Menchov and di Luca are the only riders removed at this stage but if anyone has a legitimate reason for removing a rider then so be it (post in this thread)
Once again a GT will be used so the same scoring system can be used, this time the Vuelta 2012 which starts with a TTT will be used.

@ ManxMissile - See this thread . I don't know the title word for word but it is the PCMDAILY 2013 database for PCM2012 which Atlantius converted for PCM2011. It was released in the first few months of this year. Anymore questions about specifics than ask Atlantius.
Knockout has joined. Just one more person needed. |

Some more questions;
How does the rankings work this time? For instance we can't have a Youth competition...
So you pick 1-21 for Draft Round 1, how does it work from there? Your post leaves me confused...

A good point both will not be in the Vuelta, only one. I hope no one underestimates the tactics when it comes to the draft.
eg. someone might choose Tavares (AVG 60) as their second pick as if someone wants Voeckler they have to have Tavares or their first pick will be for nothing. |
