You had to be, to say you might be my boss
Where's the job then?

That's absolutely brilliant, considering the company

That's how good a comediant I am... I'm funny even when I'm not trying to...
Seriously now, I am very fortunate to have such an opportunity seeing as how most of the graduates from FEP end up working for Sonae... But they start as low as you can get... Supermarket assistants... It's company policy...

Well, the company I'll be working for has Sonae as it's smallest costumer, so it's a "slightly" different proposition
I just hope I don't get assigned to work for Sonae. I want to go abroad. preferably the Middle East, Canada or the Far East (in that order)

I won't be going to Spain, that's for sure. Nothing against the country or the people, it's just not good for any company to invest there.
And Microsoft's Steve Wilson said it perfectly the last time he gave a lecture at FEUP a few months ago. I can't remember his exact words but he said that for any non-spanish company to invest in spain is suicide because the spanish don't like anything that isn't spanish, so even if by some miracle your company manages to sell well there, the market will eventually collapse, because spain is going to go into deep recession in the long term because of the lack of foreign investment.

My Estudos de Empresa teacher who happens to be the director of Metro do Porto has a similar theory about Spain but he says that, if it happens, we too will suffer because of our tight relation with them... He also says that any future recession in Spain is still reversable today and that the recession will ultimately be softened by rapid and strategic action from the EU, seeing as how Spain are one of the most important balance stones of the EU...

Hopefully that's the case. It's not nice to see any country in recession.

well, I wouldn't say no to a certain country in eastern europe. You know...the one where the catholic church rules over the government. The one where if you're not catholic you'll get discriminated against

It's pretty scary. i did not exaggerate in any way. It's literally the church rules over the government.

I know you were talking about Poland, I was making a joke... Poland, church, right... I'll admit it was a rather bad one... But still
I know because I have a friend of mine that is there because of the Erasmus program or some program like that and he tells me that it's like the Twilight Zone over there... It's ridicoulus... He told the family he's staying with that he was an atheist and they warned him that he would have a hard time there if he told that to anyone else... Learned his lesson...
God thing I'm more of a No God/Beach person... I don't think I'd fit in in Poland...
