Out of those 5 just the Colombians.
Not necessarily.
Froome might do Vuelta in support of Henao, however his plans arent yet confirmed, it is likely that it could happen.

Definitely not Dombrowski, he'll be racing USA Pro Cycling Challenge, which ends just after Vuelta starts. Zandio will be there for sure though.

I heard Froome would go to the Vuelta to help Henao, but I think it's not confirmed yet. |

Quick question guys. Is the vuelta as good a spectacle as the tour in terms of scenery and summit on tv?
I don't follow cycling religiously but I think SBS is covering some stages here in Australia. |

Whats up with all this talk of "helping Henao"? Isn't Uran leading Sky in la Vuelta?
Did they change plans? |

Henao has been their designated leader for months.

Strange since as soon as wiggo said he wouldnt ride there Uran was appointed as leader (back then even said as to be a gift to convince him to stay with the team).
Well, probably my sources are not that reliable and passed speculation as facts.
Thanks for the answers

Already said months ago he won't.
Too many mountains, he knows he doesn't stand the slightest chance, so he won't show up. Instead he's going to try to win that amazingly important 2.1 race being held at the same time
Why would he bother going to a race that is so biased against riders like him? It would be a fragging waste. However he's going to a race where his sole presence is enough to make the sponsor happy, it makes perfect sense.

Uran is leaving Sky at the end of year. Hence he will not be leader at Vuelta. Plus in Giro, Uran was already like 5 min ahead of Henao, so no point supporting Henao after Wiggins left.
I too feel Uran is more complete stage racer than Henao.

I heard Froome will not be going. Its not in his plan for this year.
But surely he will like to have crack at Giro/Vuelta sometime. He has narrowly missed winning Vuelta in 2011 and in 2012 he was well too tired after helping Wiggins in TdF. |

Please, no.
They've done the same with Kruijswijk (2 GTs in one year at an early age) and nothing good came out of it

Exactly. Sky and Wiggins will get lots of attention from winning Tour of Britain in UK, and that's why they havy by far biggest market presence, I feel winning ToB will definitely get them more attention than if Wiggins was to podium Vuelta for example.
About Henao, he came down sick at the Giro and outside of Giro has been the better rider of the two. Henao has also more potential, although that can be arguable.

Because I give more value to actual cycling than to pleasing corporate sponsors, maybe?

Uran has been in the worldtour 6 more years as Henao so the latter should have much more growth margin |

For the final victory in Vuelta 2013 there's not a long name's list... Nibali, Rodriguez, some Colombians like Henao and Betancur, perhaps Majka, Samu Sanchez. Pay attention to Fabio Aru, that caught a fifth position in the 20th stage of Giro d'Italia. Almost all riders that took part in Tour will not be at the Vuelta. Others Grand Tour contender in Vuelta could be Michele Scarponi, Ivan Basso, Gesink. Luis Leon Sanchez is preparing only for Vuelta, if I remember well, and he will be Belkin's leader, I suppose. |
