I'd say fighter as it is best all round, which is what your rider is, if u want to pick a specialism it's gotta be TT. And then cobbles. Shame, as he won't dominate everything, just be quite good everywhere.

Hmm, fighter seems a decent choice. Though, TT & COB only are trained 1 point out of 3 with fighter. Doesn't seem a good idea, mostly flat is trained with fighter.
I'd rather make him a TTist first, and then develop his other skills. Drawback is that COB does have 0 points out of 3 when training TT(which doesn't mean that COB doesn't develop, but very slowly...)
Here's the training specialisations table I'm talking about, btw

I'd go for cobbles. He would be a great classics rider - a super domestique or leader for smaller team. As a TTist he is limited to a handful of stage wins when the big guns are missing or out of form, and maybe some smaller flat stage races if you care about them. I prefer cobbles, but it really depends on your needs and team specialisation. |

It's a second Cancellara.
Train him in COB.

silly question.. if i have a career going with french database, and install PCM database, does the game start generating riders using the PCM xml files? have noted this seasons crop of u21 is more similar to PCM generated riders, not the french db ones..

Yeah, DBs have a habit of not mixing too well. Trust me.... I mean, some go together pretty well, others don't AT ALL
When you can't decide between two options, flip a coin. Not because the result of the coin will choose for you, but because, in that split second before the coin lands, you'll know what side you want it to fall on.

Unless you have two different installations of PCM, there's only one set of xml files the game can use. So if you install one DB on top of another, it will use the most recent files. |

How do you have that many riders??
Also Davide Petrucci definitely plays for Man United. Talented boy. |

They are for sure gonna be the captains of the team in some years
I hadn't noticed that I had more than 30 riders, but that's weird, I haven't done a thing in the editor

They are very good stage races riders.
You are on 1st August, so you have at the same time the riders that will finish their contract this year and the young riders you just signed as trainees .

It is me, or the chances of having a talent who can become a super star rider (at least one skill, if not two over 80) are smaller in the Expansion Pack than in the original DB ?

Yes, its more realistic
But the stat limits of real riders are a bit lower as well

I've now reached 2018, some of my talents have become leaders, and some is still developing
Autret
Secured me the promotion to the UCI World Tour, and is currently my best rider.
Davide Petrucci
One of my biggest talents for the future, will for sure be the team captain within some years.
Hector Garcia Sanchez
My best climber, is currently my captain on mountain stages, and in the future, I'll probably use him as a team mate.
Alex Bravo
Descent in stage races, will race the smaller races.
Marcos Chavez
Massive talent, will be the captain in the future in every race he race, will probably try to break records in the GT's with him.

Most lack good secondary stats, though
Your climber lacks hill and other stuff, and the leader lacks a bit of stamina. But overall some great riders! |

Damn, some huge talents indeed.
And yeah, most lack secondary stats a bit, but a lot of talents generated do that, it seems
