In my defense: when it starts like this:
In an interview with cyclingnews.com after Stage 5 of Paris-Nice, Lotto-Belisol sprinter Greg Henderson said that he would retire from cycling

I'm already too sad to read the rest Pfft

Paris-Nice Stage 7

I hope to get a top five on today's flat stage.

The Race

imageshack.us/a/img545/9113/breakr.jpg
There was a six man group that got away: Sijmens (Cofidis), Madrazo (Moviestar), Offredo (FDJ), Maaskant (Garmin), Devolder (Radioshack), and Veillux (Europcar).
imageshack.us/a/img38/5639/10kmtogo.jpg
With 10 km to go the gap is 45 sec and our train is rolling.
imageshack.us/a/img541/9342/3kmtogo.jpg
With 3 km to go the break is caught and Bille starts his leadout.
imageshack.us/a/img585/6360/1kmtogo.jpg
With 1 km to go I have started my sprint and Degankolb is leading and Goss is in the perfect position. Who will take the win?
imageshack.us/a/img703/1438/finishx.jpg
And Gossy takes the Win! Turgot in second Boonen in third. After leading with 300 m to go I fade to fifth.

Milan San-Remo 2013

Time for the first Monument of the Year. The team has two cards to play. Greipel for the sprint and Vannedert for the attack. We hope for a podium finish.

The Race

imageshack.us/a/img560/7700/breakgd.jpg
Four brave men broke away from the gun and won't be seen for a few hours they are: Erviti (Moviestar), Mol (Vanconsoiel), Uran (Sky), and Garcia (Cofidis).
imageshack.us/a/img577/4664/phinneyattacks.jpg
With 50 km to go Taylor Phinney is the first to attack and the breakaway is still leading by 2 min.
imageshack.us/a/img33/1662/cipressa.jpg
At the foot of the cipressa the gap to the break which has been joined by Phinney is 1 min 30 sec.
imageshack.us/a/img9/9662/vannedertattacks.jpg
With 25 kms to go Vannedert launches his attack as the break is swallowed up by the field. Attempting to follow is Ballan and Flecha.
imageshack.us/a/img818/9302/groupfactures.jpg
Over the top of the Cipressa the peleton fractures and a 16 man group forms including Greipel, Bak for us and Cancellara, Sagan, Boonen, and Gilbert.
imageshack.us/a/img827/6844/20kmtogo.jpg
With 20 km to go Vannedert has a 30 sec gap to Ballan and Flecha who have 20 sec to the favorites group.
imageshack.us/a/img850/5639/10kmtogo.jpg
With 10 km to go the Poggio has started and Vannedert has 45 sec to the chasing group.
imageshack.us/a/img825/8884/sagam.jpg
With 1 km left on the Poggio Sagan takes matters into his own hands and rides away from everyone else. Vannedert has 30 sec to Sagan.
imageshack.us/a/img854/6360/1kmtogo.jpg
With 1 km to go Vannedert has 15 sec to the charging Sagan and Gilbert and Greipel are coming up fast behind Sagan. Who will win?
imageshack.us/a/img843/1663/finishho.jpg
Vannedert wins for Belguim and takes the biggest win of his career as he wins Milan San-Remo 2013. Sagan ran out of gas in the last kilometer.
imageshack.us/a/img534/3042/sagansecond.jpg
Sagan takes second and Greipel third with Gilbert fourth. Boonen leads in the bunch in fifth followed by Lars Bak who takes sixth. I finish 22nd.

All in all a great race for the team. I'm on a break until my Tour buildup which will start with the Tour of Luxembourg. Also Andre has decided to ride the Giro and I will give small updates on how each stage goes as well as the cobbled and hilly classics.

Well the cobbled classics were dissapointing for the team with no one in the top 25 in Paris-Roubaix or Ronde Van Vlaanderen but Vannedert rode a good race in the Basque Country with a stage win and 8th in GC.
