I am really sorry for not posting in the last couple of weeks but I just did not have time for PCM . But now I am on holiday and I will continue from where we left . I hope you will still follow my story !

Stage 5

It is another short , flat stage , the last one before the decisive ITT from tomorrow . Lets hope that Stybar can mentain his good GC position .

A 6-man break-away was formed but the biggest gap to the peloton was 2 minutes . Argos and Movistar did not want to miss their chances for a mass sprint .

With almost 5 kms to go the break-away was about to be caught . Meanwhile Stybar was behind Fenn , who was on Degenkolb's wheel . Things were looking good for us !

With 3 kms to go Fenn jumped from Degenkolb's wheel and he tried to bring Stybar right in the front of the peloton .

Awesome job by Fenn , Stybar was now in the best postion !

Ventoso and Stybar are very close , fighting for the win !

Ventoso takes the win and increases his lead in the GC but congratulations for Stybar , the 4th podium in the race .

Stage 6

The final stage . Stybar is now thir in the GC , but with a much better TT than Degenkolb and Ventoso and with quite an impressive lead over the rest , so lets hope he can win this race !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0014_zpsf58645c5.jpg

There goes Fabian Cancellara , the main favourite at winning the stage . He sets the best time 17'15" , 15 seconds faster than Cummings .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0015_zpsd55524ee.jpg

Here is our man , Zdenek Stybar . He had the 6th time at the middle of the stage , lets hope he can ride better on the final climb .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0018_zpsa0b2f3c5.jpg

AWESOME ! Smile 2nd time , 9 second behind Cancellara .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0019_zpsc89559ca.jpg

Degenkolb is good on hills , but today he lost lots of time , no way he cand defend his 2nd place in the GC .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0020_zps3f424b7f.jpg

Ventoso - the last man who can stop Stybar from winnig Etoile de Besseges . But he struggles on the 10% slopes and he can't defend his 6" lead over Stybar .

It is a really nice race , 5 short , flat stages and a short TTT. We have a very strong team here and we expect to win the GC , even if it is Mark's first race of the season .<br />

Stage 1

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0007_zps7168a28e.jpg

A 4-man break-away was fromed , surprising to see Moreno Moser there . Their maximum lead was of 5 minutes .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0009_zps8239445f.jpg

As we caught the break-away our sprint train was formed , Lets hope that Vandewalle , Grabsch , Martin and Steegamans will lead Cav in the best conditions .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0010_zps453bb6a9.jpg

With 6 kiometers to go Grabsch was in front . Orica GreenEdge were also looking good with Lancaster , Impey and Davis in front of Goss , Ciolek and Renshaw took Mark's wheel .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0011_zpsc3ffb085.jpg

Unfortunately Steegamans did not have the speed of Impey and Sieberg and Greipel and Goss were in front with 1.2 kilometers to go . It is going to be difficult for Cav !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0012_zpsaac0519d.jpg

Goss wins for a couple of centimeters in front of Greipel . Mark showed he was very fast but he started the sprint too far behind to fight for a podium place .

Stage 3

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0026_zps6582d807.jpg

As usual a flat stage that we hope it will end up in a mass sprint . Let's hope that this time Mark's lead-out will work properly .

As no break-away was fromed early we contested the first intermediate sprint .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0027_zpsab20e198.jpg

Mark won it , with Devenyns and Favili behind him .

After this the BOTD was formed . But the 4 escpees were reeled in by OPQS , Orica and Lotto .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0028_zps4c417df1.jpg

With 12 kilometers to go we formed our train . Again Vandewalle , Grabsch , Martin and Steegamns were the guys to set the pace .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0029_zps4d6cdb81.jpg

This time things were looking great . No sign of Lotto or Orica and everybody else was fighting for a place behind Cav .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0030_zps3924df1d.jpg

We started our sprint with 1 kilometer to go . Renshaw and L.S.Haedo were in front on the middle of the road , Mark was on the right and Goss on the left .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0031_zps8cb4af77.jpg

SO close with 100 meters to go . Goss , Cavendish and Eeckhout fightinf for the win .... anything was possbile !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0032_zps6b35fdd0.jpg

And he wins it !!! Smile First win of the season for the former world champion Mark Cavendish !!!

Thanks guys for all the support ! It's good to know that after this "break " you still follow my story . Smile Related to the game Stybar is showing some great shape , he will also lead our team in Tour Mediteranean , we expect him to do well there . 3 stages left in Qatar , Mark is 1 s behind Goss , we will find tomorrow who will win Wink

Cavendish finally does it!! 3 more stages = 3 more wins Grin

Nice solid start from Cavendish in Qatar Smile

Stage 4

Another typical stage for Qatar . Let's hope that Mark can take the Leader's jersey .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0034_zps73ee636d.jpg

A 4-man break-away was formed , but the peloton seemed very determined to catch the escpees . And it happened with 30 kilometers from the finish , thanks to OPQS ,Lotto , Orica and Lampre .

The pace was very high and nobody tried to attack after the BOTD was caught . Our riders did what they had to do and formed the sprint train .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0035_zps5acccc3d.jpg

With 4 kilometers to go Tony Martin was exhausted , no energy left and Steegmans couldn't take the lead so far from the finish . Our speed was low and as a consequence Westra attacked , also other sprinters passed Cavendish . Mark started his sprint from 15th position as Westra had a 20" gap with 1.5 kilometers to go .

But Cavendish was insanely fast ! He gained 10 places and there were 200 meters left !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0036_zps8e6a7a83.jpg

He got blocked by Westra !!! Sad What a pity ! Started his sprint waaay back and still came 2nd , showing he is in great shape . No sign of Goss in the first riders across the line and Mark takes the Leader's jersey . Wink

Stage 5

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0038_zps4006d0a3.jpg

An early break-away was fromed , but we were determined to protect Mark's Jersey so Verona and Devenynsworked all day in the front of the peloton .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0039_zps0d6f55de.jpg

We fromed again our train : Vandewalle - Grabsch - Martin - Steegmans - Cavendish . We were on the left side of the road , figthing with Lotto to get in the front .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0040_zps957f66e6.jpg

Greipel and Goss decieded to follow Mark's wheel rather than form their own train .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0041_zpsdae49626.jpg

LOL ! Look at Lotto's stategy ... they sent Sieberg and Bak to launch their sprint soon with 2.5 kms to go , hoping they would surprise us , but Steegmans did an awesome job ! With 1.3 kilometers to go Greipel and Goss started to sprint , Cav decied to follow them .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0042_zps2c1c9e1d.jpg

400 meters to go and Greipel is still in front . Meanwhile nobody can follow us and I think that we created a gap from the rest of the peloton . Does Mark still have some energy to pass his former team-mates from HTC ?

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0043_zps18f8d8ea.jpg

He jumps from Greipel's wheel , goes on the left and...Takes the win ! Smile

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0044_zps8f4519ce.jpg

Again like real life.... Good job Cyanide ! Wink

Stage 6

Ok.. It's the last stage , let's hope nothing bad happens and that Cavendish keeps his Jerseys . Goss is our only concern , both in the GC and Points Rakings . But our team is very motivated from Zdenek's success from France and they want to win here as well.

Nothing special happened . A 5-man break-away was formed , they were caught with 20 kilometers to go , so let's skip to the interesting part .

Our train was just amazing . We must congratulate Grabsch and especially Tony for the amazing pace that they set and look in what comfortable position we are .

There should be no problem for Mark here ....

Started his sprint ...very,very fast again , he takes the 3rd win in Qatar , and of course the GC . Banana

Congratulations for our team , very good perfromance , and especially for Mark . Wink Our next race : Tour Mediteranean . We expect some big things from Stybar , as the route suits him : 2 flat stages , 1 hilly ITT and an uphill finish . Smile

Sorry Ian but from the last 3 stages we got only 2 wins , not 3 , as you expected Wink
