Why? You can't have anything against Argos )
Seconded. As much as you can argue that they're perhaps the weakest WT team (although I think that's Euskaltel), they're at least not involved in any doping scandals.
Least suspicious WT team, imo.
Clearly you forgot about Team Sky
Teams like Astana, Katusha or Lampre aren't suspicious either. I mean, it's common knowledge that they are incredibly dirty, so that doesn't qualify as "suspicious", right?

And OPQ and Blanco... Might as well throw Movistar in there while we are at it

And worst too.
I think they dont belong to the WT.

That depends on what ranking you use.
They have more CQ points than Euskaltel, but Euskaltel has more WT points.
IAM and Europcar have more CQ points than Argos too. But the season is still young.

Somebody somewhere here at Daily spoke recently about possible system with less WT teams, who are true all-around squads and can send good riders everywhere (OPQS, Sky, Lampre, Lotto, Cannondale and so... maybe like 10-12 squads)
Rest of the teams can be PCT or CT and call for wildcards, that would be to my liking.

10-12 squads, I wouldn't count Lotto with the best 10, though. (Though with Roelandts getting much better, they're getting there) |

Yep. Lotto's nowhere near the top 10. They barely have more CQ points than Argos.
BTW I agree that there should be less WT teams. I also like to see less teams in all races. That way there's less chance of big crashes and less chance that a race gets Sky'ed.

I see your logic about the crashes but why would there be less chance to get Sky'ed?
Less riders in a race might be better, though. In some stage races only 6, in GT maybe 8 |

Shouldn't be more than 6 in any race, imo. Just think about how well it worked in the Olympics with 5 rider teams.

With 6 in a race, maybe they could even add a couple WT races

With less riders, one team can't control the race (like Sky). More chance for attacking riders, too.

Yes, that is with less riders on a team, but your post was about less teams in a race, no? |

Both actually.
Though I think less riders per team is more important. Less (WT-) teams will get rid of any useless teams in the bigger races, though. And again it will also lessen the amount of riders.

I think at this year`s Tour de Pologne will be 6 riders per team, so we will see if thats better.

Cavendish wants Petacchi as his lead-out man for 2013. Although Petacchi had announced his retirement, there is still a little chance he will ride at OPQS this year serving Cavendish in the sprints.

Immediately after Petacchi said he wants to end his career as a leadout possibly, OPQS was the team on my mind. Will be interesting if they can make this happen.

Would be interested. Boonen could pass on the tour more easily then! |

Don't think that their goal is too either crash a whole pack or to headbutt the other team's rider's. |

They are thinking about Renshaw, but that's for next season.
It's strange though, Petacchi would join this year, but that's basically doing a transfer now, I didn't think that was possible... |
