Yeah, I didn't expect him for the win here. But the Dutch riders are doing very well. Westra, Kelderman, Gesink...

I just tuned in, who the hell is Gaudin?!

Even I barely knew Gaudin and he was a complete suprise to me. Doesn't happen often
Must be the best short+technical prologue of Gesink ever. I really hope he can win this race. But Westra also looks good, and so does Costa.

Joy from the French over chavanel then the entire crowd 'eh?'
Ahhhh Houiles. What a nice little course.

Where? He is only a avege climber (at best) and i don't think an uphill ITT is his strong point either.
De Gendt in topform is the only Belgian who can possible win from the ones that are here.
And I don't think he is in topform yet and Vacansoleil will play the Westra card |

Good prologue from Rui Costa. I'm still curious about Westra in the queen stage, I haven't seen him with a notorious result on a high-mountain finish yet. |

I too am interested in Westra but they have de Gendt as well so they could be really strong... |

A little calculations : a 13" gap here means 19 % more power output for the winner than by those who finished 13" behind. That's quite huge. Of course there are other factors than just power on such a course.
For who asked : 'Houilles' is pronounced 'ouy'.

You forgot to list Velits there I hope he has something in the tank, maybe for top 10 overall (but he is yet to show it this year, he is becoming more and more of a TT specialist obviously, that is what OPQS is doing with you).
Nice win for Gaudin and won bet on another rider.
Peraud is my favourite for GC.
