Here's an awesome young sprinter in my career signed by Champion System, he was winning everything in the u-23's so they snapped him up as a trainee at the end of 2012 and he took 15 victories in the last couple of months of 2012.

Getting lucky there for Champ... getting an 8 potential rider, then that rider gets a 5 for gene_i_year_progression. (This is why I always reduce how strong that is).
Would be curious to know how much his max flat and res is though, as those may both hinder him against the very elite.

Yeah there's not much Champion System aren't winning on the flat, I'm in August 2014 they also have Theo Bos who they signed. Gear has 14 wins and Bos has 9 wins so far. |

I'm not sure, but isn't a trainee contract 1000€?

In that case then I have no idea how they managed that, you'd have to ask Champion Systems DS! |

@Anderspcm
That's a lot of potential! Although it will take very long until he reaches his potential, and it's not certain if he gets there before he declines
His hill&stamina abilities will be really bad though, he can get problems with that

I have a similar problem. My scout found a future star rider and I signed him immediately. Unless the other future star riders from my scout this one has very low stats. I must wait until August to see if he has an enormous potential or not. |

The current stats don't say much about a rider's potential. If he has a great potential, he will become a very good rider. So don't worry about his current stats.
