Looks like Belletti wasted himself a bit on those sprint points, but 4th is still certainly not a bad result. He's positioning himself decently for the points jersey which would would be kind of awesome for us.
Chichi is fast and actually has support for his sprints, he can certainly win some more stages here.

Nice to see Daniel not far off the best in those sprints.

Boeing step up when it matters. Thank you Mihaylov and Balinski, who made it easy for Chicci.
Nice close sprint behind makes things exciting as well.
Now to mop those other couple of flat stages before attention turns away from us to the GC battle.

Not happy at all... Stupid Polivoda has to position himself better (see Algeria where he failed to position aswell) to not get boxed in...
I really want this goal accomplished, as it might be my hardest....

Since when was Jiriakov a sprinter? not that I'm complaining as the bonus seconds could come in handy and he's now only 1 point off the sprinters jersey.

I liked the showing of Grmay in the breakaway and I enjoyed Matzka competing in the sprint. Not much more to say.
Fun fact; Armavia have been involved in a breakaway with minimum one rider in each of the five stages. Let that continue |

Great 1-2 for our Ukrainian friends, reaching their goal, congrats!
Polivoda finally showing what he is worth, also Gomenyuk is great lead-out, but that was clear from database and his stats.

Now that's called a sprint like I want to see them
Happy I achieved my goal, now let's get another stage somehow and Kono a top 5(?) GC.
Feel sorry for both MTN and Evian, very bad moment to crash, so unlucky.
Great reports this first half Pelli, thanks for them, and thanks for this high pace.
@Avin: Thanks I knew I had to get some guys like Gomenyuk and Ansons. But also this Lima guy is quite a sprinter himself. Wonder what will happen in a race with Ansons, Lima, Poli and Maksimov...
Edit: Avin: Thanks for letting me have Poli for 50k. He already more than justified that amount.

It was a well chosen goal fjhoekie, nice one.
While I understand the disappointment behind crashes they are the added risk in long stage races like this and there is some sense of inevitability behind Rodas crashing he did a couple of times when I managed him.
On a separate note unlike my rather rubbish missing of the Tirreno crash this was well picked up by Pelli, who is doing a great job here with what at times has been a defensive style of race. The sprint train line is nice way of communicating that section something that I will look to put in my reports.

A shame Ghafari ran out of steam, but I don't mid as long as Martinez is kept safe from Rodas-like crashes.
Another great report Pelli and congrats to Privatbank |

Oooh, even though I benefitted by the crash, it's allways a bad way to gain time on others, so I hope that Landa and Rodas could come back later in the race.
Extreme performance by Privatbank, yay!
Still waiting for Matzka to do something special though
Great reporting Pelli |

Another good win for Privatbank. Chicchi and Belletti probably used to much energy on the intermediates.
And nice to see Baumann performing well here. |

Terrible from Ghafari...
Pelli, I'm pretty sure that was stage 7 |

Good try by Nel there, unfortunately he ended Armavias breakaway-run.
4th by Matzka was a pleasant surprise though. He seems to improve for each sprint stage. Too bad he'll never gonna survive the time limit in the coming stages
Congrats to Privtbank, they are really impressive in the sprints!

If Chicchi got down properly into the drops he could have won that. Who sprints upright?
But another good lead-out by Privatbank makes a lot of difference.
Back into the mountains and i hope Colorado and Parra can be active.
Also going to be great to watch the rest of the GC contenders go at it

Great victory once again for Poli
Attention back to Kononenko and Mestre now.
@roturn: I'm pretty sure Polivoda also used some energy for the intermediates Shouldn't have made the difference I guess...
I now also hope Poli can reach all time limits and after that take stage 12...
