@kumazan: Hansen will be in, racing together with Leigh Howard for Drapac!
@MrDemus: Both Meenhorst and Hutchings are likely to take two spots in the last remaining team Orica! I'm considering to add Will Walker to that team as well, even though he's "over the rules". So if two more eligible Aussies join the action until Sunday, things may change!
@fenian: I hope he will

In terms of Cadburys, I asked Smowz to complete the race planner because I dont think its good for the game that a team who took part in transfers then doesnt participate in the racing.
But they dont need to participate in the bonuses of the game, such as this, or things like the National Championships all the way at the end of the season.
I get quite upset when this happens. Because Cadbury signed 2 or 3 riders I desperately wanted to sign and bid me up on a lot of riders. They sort of threw my transfer planning out the window and now they have seemingly disappeared. *sigh*

So, guys. I've updated the 2nd post with a provisional "final startlist", with only one rider being not 100% confirmed (William Walker). He looks like a good fit though, as otherwise Team Orica wouldn't be too competitive I will still wait til sunday and may change some things.
Here's a short preview of the Bay Classic Series. The profiles and some screens of how the race-preparations are going on.
Race 1/ Geelong Criterium
Race 2/ Queenscliff Criterium
Race 3/ Portarlington Criterium
Race 4/ Williamstown Criterium
Finish line Geelong/ Ritchie Boulevard
Start and Finish Queenscliff
Finish climb Portarlington/ Harding Street

Deadline passed - Final startlist revealed The Bay Classic Series is ready to go. With the nomination's deadline passed, the race organization has confirmed the startlist for the event. You may check the 2nd post of this thread (nothing has changed in the last few days though). So here's a short overview of what to expect in the next couple of days:
- as soon as all race-planners have found their way to SN, I will get the permission to post reports for the Bay Classic
- you will find the reports in the "Other races"-section and here is the place to discuss the results
- NOTE: While testing the stages, we decided to go without a separate sprint-classification. Blame it on Cya-logic So, we just go for the Overall Win, with points awarded for the Top-10 of every race (12-10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1), while the Overall Winner will be decided right after the last race (obviously).
Special announcement: Crit-Series to come! You like the idea of running a crit-series like this Bay Classic? You would love to give votes for your riders during the season? You like following short races? Then you will love this announcement:
Roturn and me made plans for a Criterium-Series to enhance the ManGame this season! We will present a schedule and more details as soon as possible, but for now, we just wanted to let you know, that this Bay Classic Series is just a "teaser" for more to come! We will run several Crit-Series like this - all around the world, to ensure that all managers will have the opportunity to join the fun. The Crit-Series won't have any effects on general PT/PCT/CT-rankings, racedays, XPs and stuff.
The Series itself may look similar to this Bay Classics, but we will put up more rules and an overall ranking, too. Therefore, this Bay Classics will remain a "show race" and won't belong to the Crit-Series 2013. Stay tuned for more!

What I like about this idea is the chance for Protour teams to enter riders alongside the PCT and CT teams.
If it is just for the fun of it, then it gives you license to be a bit free with the restrictions as well without worrying about too much bias.
Finding it hard to pick any absolute favourites for this as there are plenty of good sprinters involved.

I'd like to think Awang has a decent chance in this but I'm not sure if he'll be team leader or working for Manan

@Smowz: Yes, I also like the mix of ProTour- and (P)CT-teams participating at one competition. And just like you said, we don't have to be severe with the restrictions, the rules may look similar to the ones here (not too overpowered AVGs and stay "regional" .
@sammy: Well, that's the question You will find out soon.
@Avin: Thanks, mate. And of course there will be a place for Eastern European teams to show up
