Germany(Mresuperstar) vs The Netherlands(Jesleyh) 2-3
What a spectacular game it was. Both Mre and me were speechless.
Let's begin with the first half. Both teams were making a lot of mistakes, especially the Dutch team. Germany was certainly better the first half, but the first huge chance was for the Netherlands. Narsingh headed just over. After that, Germany was getting better and better, while The Netherlands kept making mistakes. Even giving a proper pass was hard for them. Just before half-time, Germany scored a goal. It was 1-0 at half-time.
After the break, the Netherlands were playing a bit better. Still not good, but better. Germany still had the edge though. They got huge chances, but we can say that Maarten Stekelenburg was the man of the match. Unbelievable, it should've been 3-0 or something like that, without him. The chances for Germany didn't result in a goal, even though they deserved it. Just before full-time, The Netherlands decided to play very, very offensive. It worked. Narsingh slotted the ball home, and scored the equalizer.
So it would be decided at extra-time, or at the penalties. The Netherlands brought in some fresh blood. It really helped, especially Lens was great, helping a lot with his speed.
I can say that both teams were now equal, the Netherlands finally started to play a decent game. What happened now was unbelievable. Lens was brought down in the penalty box. It was a penalty! Of course Van Persie would take it. He decided to shoot in the left corner. No Panenka, no holding in before shooting, just the left corner. But Neuer expected that, and stopped it. The minutes after that, were very exciting. The players were pumped with adrenaline. Just before the Extra time break, the Germans got a corner. And another one. And another one. And another one. And three more. But they did just not manage to score. The break arrived. After the break, the Netherlands kept countering. Lens and Afellay were still fresh, and since they're both fast, the Germans didn't have a direct answer at the quick countering. Still, the Germans again had some 100% chances, bigger than those from the Dutchies. At a certain moment, the keeper was beat, and the Germans could just tap the ball in. But no, it was Aston Villa's Ron Vlaar, who came diving in, and slided the ball away from the German player. Both teams though that it would be a goal. Everyone except Ron.
But at the 114th minute it happened. The Germans were playing offensive, and didn't had many defenders back. The Dutchies had some fast guys, ready to score. A few cross-passes later, Narsingh scored! 1-2! From a hard position from the side, he got the ball in the far corner. I believe he did even hit the bottom of the cross-bar. Both teams were astonished. To make it even worse, minutes later, by some great teamwork of the attackers(Yeah, great teamwork from Robben, surprising isn't it?), the keeper was well... owned, and there was the 1-3. The Dutchies were okay with it, and tried to play the ball around calmly. Though the Germans didn't surrender, and they even made the 2-3. The Dutchies were very nervous now, but they just passed the ball to each other, and there was the final whistle.
This may look an impressive game, but if you expecienced it, it was just Amazing. As said, we were both speechless. I did never play a game more exciting than this I guess. Just WOW.
So, a quick summary:
Was it deserved? NO
Was it close? For sure!
Was it spectacular? Absolutely yeah!
The Germans were really better today. There were moments that they should've been in front by far. They passed at the right moment, always searching for the space. Basically, they play how the Dutchies wanted to play. But still, the Netherlands got some chances too. They also could've decided it, with some huge chances, and of course, the penalty. But the Germans were so close, especially that time that they beat the keeper, but Vlaar came diving in.
Man of the Match: Maarten Stekelenburg(Netherlands) Of course, there were some great players, especially from Germany, like Özil. But this man, Stekelenburg, was just so awesome today.
I repeat it once again: THIS WAS A GREAT GAME
I'm curious who I will meet in the final.
Spoiler
Yes, this is a long report. There was just so much to tell about this... The sequence of the report might be a little bit different, it's just that so much happened.
Well, I'm a bit busy with my homework(Yeah, homework during the holidays, it sucks... I even get a mark for some parts of it...)
And actually, I hoped that the first time that I play you will be in the final
But I can do a friendly soon I guess...

I know what you mean. Damn that read report for Dutch.
Alright, just say it when you want to play, though it's not sure if you play me in the final. It could be either me, viking90 or andodone, but I guess you already knew that.
Been online for 1½ hour now and keep listening to following song.....;
Don´t know what to do, we said today either before or after the game he have been online but didn´t pm me back.
And I didn´t have any time before the game so thought he could play now but apperently not...

But anyway we played yesterday after 30 mins when my team was celebrating our 2-0 goal his internet connection broke and he went offline and haven´t talked to him since then.
Should we just count that match then, or wait till andodone shows up?
