Regarding Ollfardh's suggestion, I really don't think that the points jersey should be low points, otherwise sprinters teams will be screwed, it makes sense regarding the KOMjersey, but surely not the points, as this is a pretty integral part of the races in the calendar...

Tabel:
1 Tour de France
2 Giro + Vuelta
3 The 5 Monuments
4 Paris-Nice + Tirreno-Adriatico + Dauphiné + Tour de Suisse
5 Other World Tour Stage Races
6 Other World Tour Single Day Races
7 Major Continental Stage Races (let's say a week long or important otherwise)
8 Major Continental Single Day Races (Paris-Tours, Omloop, ... )
9 Other Continental Stage Races
10 Other Continental Single Day races
I would just this as points table, for money just keep the same values but use a multiplier (x10, x20, x100?) for realism. Also for realism, I would not award points for jerseys (like irl), but I added the values for the money calculation.

No, I don't think that the KoM should be less points than the points jersey. It should be equal, as there might be teams setting the KoM jersey as a goal too, because they have a fighter/puncheur who's good on the mountains(or a climber who's a good fighter ) or something like that...

By the way, as I don't know where to put this question; what about national champions?

This is the perfect place for that
If there is an NC in game then that will be used
Otherwise it will be the highest ranked rider from that nation.
For WC, i will nominate 5 riders. People will then vote for the WC from those riders
For WC ITT, i will go over the TT results and nominate 3 riders. People will then vote.

I guess, but at the same time, if you look back through history, there have been several teams chasing points jerseys, i dont think their are really teams where the focus of the actual team is KOM jeresys...

Well, honestly, right now, I might go for the KoM jersey with my team.
My stage racer, Fränk Schleck, won't win the Tour, and won't participate in all the 3GT's, but I got Voeckler too, and with his fighter and hill stat he might be the perfect man for the KoM jersey.

It's probably there, but I've missed it. Will this be run in stage race mode? Or in a career with simulated races? Or 3D races? |

For TT'NC's I propose we use Chrono des Nations. It's already in there so you won't have to edit anything, and then all riders of a nationality without a TT-NC in the game can settle things there? Either that or allowing them to participate in other nations NC's, as I assume you will have to classify the NC-races to classics in the DB in order to be able to race them? E.g. Irish riders could ride along in the British Championship, All South America in Colombias etc. (I really like NC's )
Edit: Highest ranking in June or at the end of the season?
And just to clarify speaking of NC's: We start of in January 2012, so current champions are the 2011-champions?

Wildcards
Spoiler All WT teams will be all WT races. This means there are 6 wildcard spaces for each race. CT teams will apply for these spots. The best 6 applicants will be selected by me.
The determining factors are Nationality, Riders, Previous Results and anything else I may need to think of to separate the applicants.
Applying for a wildcard will cost money. The Tour of Beijing and the Canadian One-Days will be the cheapest. The Tour de France will be the most expensive. A full list of costs will come later.
Calendar
Spoiler All WT teams must race all WT races. There are 6 wildcards for each WT race.
There will be large selection of CT races to choose from. Each team will be sent a list of races they are to participate in. They can them swap any races for any other race, as long as the total race days remains the same.
The WT teams will be sent a small selection of CT races. Again they can be swapped to the same race day total.
These calendars will be related to nationalities and orientations.
Race Day Limit
Each rider will have a 60 day limit to accommodate the larger calendar.
@TMM Got a few questions about Wildcards and Calendar
1. Do we apply for Wildcards before the start of the season or during the season?
2. If I would get a Wildcard for lets say a GT (21 stages), will I have to swap 21 CT stages for the GT?
3. How many teams will be needed in order for a race to continue? Like when 6 of the 8 teams that got the race on their original calendar swap it for another race, will the race be cancelled?
I think that is it for now |

1. Yes, all wildcards are done before season start
2. No, they are additional to the CT calendar
3. Races can be cancelled if there arent enough teams.

I think 10 its very ok and the rest can be AI teams. BTW, will be any AI teams in game? |
