One question for database people: how hard or how much work is it to edit individual fitness for a race? It would only be for team leaders and custom riders, so it will only be for a few riders a race, and I'm expecting won't be used in all races. Will race reporters be able to handle it easily?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's fairly easy (at least in older versions, don't know about PCM13), but I think close to impossible for 1-day races as they don't seem to get a .cdb created (at least I haven't been able to find it).
For stage races you just have to start the race and then open the generated savegame and edit the column called "Rider Fitness" or something like that (far to the right). With the Excel editor it's extremely easy to edit it for many riders as you can just drag-copy the cells with the value you want.

I see, in that case I won't be using it as it's a bit unfair for classics specialists. Thanks for the help Atlantius!

Some more beta testing, if I could get a few volunteers to make some riders they would be using with these rules:
11) Rider application
Each player can have up to 3 riders, but there are restrictions. All young riders have to be aged between 18 and 23. However, if you choose to make 3 riders, one has to be 18 and one has to be max 21. If you choose 2 riders, one has to be max 20. You can choose any age when you only pick one rider. Older riders have better starting stats, but will advance slower than younger riders.
All stats start at 55. Depending on your rider’s age, you will get more points. Each stat up to 70 can be used one a 1:1 ratio. For going from 70 to 71 and onwards, you’ll need to spend 2 points to increase a stat by one. To go from 75 tot 76 and up, it will be a 4:1 ratio. To avoid people ignoring stats, you cannot have more then 2 stats below 60.
For 18 year olds, you will have 130 points to add to your base stats of 55, add 15 points for each age, so a 23 year old will have 205 points to add.
Fill out this form to apply as a rider:
Name:
Age:
Nationality:
Rider type:
Short Bio:
Flat:
Hill:
Mnt:
TT:
Prol:
Cob:
Spr:
Acc:
Desc:
End:
Res:
Fight:
Rec:
Thanks in advance

Thanks both, much appreciated. Could I get a few more volunteers, and preferably for a younger rider, so I can compare them to the 23 year olds?

Calendar is done as well, I think most stuff is covered now. I guess I could launch it and pick up the database guy and a few race reporters along the way.
I could use a few more test riders though. Just need the stats, everything else is irrelevant for now
