Coming up in Febuary:
Febuary marks the start of the coblled races, however there are many very hilly races, most hilly races will most likely be used as warm ups for Paris-Nice or T-A
By the way in future months, I will only do a big review for the important races, since there weren't many races I decided to do all of them |

Alberto Contador fractured a vertabre, he is expected to be out untill late April, meaning he will miss Paris-Nice, which he was expected to race in. Last years Tour de France winner crashed into chad Beyer of MGM. Beyer was shaken up but he was fine, this crash also caused a huge split in the pack that Vasil Kiryienka used to his advantage to win the stage. |

by the way I'm going to try reporting a bit differently starting no so please tell me if it is a good idea
Today i a mass sprint for sure, we will hopefully get a top 5 here, if we are lucky
Favorites:
*** EBH, Goss, Feillu
** Haussler, Mathews
* Ciolek, Chicchi
from the start, this group of 13 riders attacked, surprisingly they werent chased down by the peleton. among the 13 was Dombrowski.
The BOTD forging ahead
near the first intermidiate sprint, the peleton starts to reel in the break
Ista takes the first intermidiate sprint
just before the second sprint, Pozzato, Nuyens and Turgot attack
Pozzato, Nuyens and Turgot chasing the break
eventually, the chasing group would reach the escape group creating a 16 man break
Ista takes another sprint
but the peleton wouldn't catch the break!
Pozzato takes it!!!

a straight sprint stage unless the break ruins the party
favorites:
*** EBH, Goss, Feillu
** Haussler, Ciolek, Hondo
* Mathews, Chicchi, Oss
to start off the race, Bauer attacked, later he was joined by 7 other riders
The BOTD riding along
but like most breaks, the peleton started to reel them in
The peleton was working hard
the gap was falling quickly and with 60 kms left the gap was down to 5 minutes
Krivtsov takes the intermidiate sprint
Trofimov takes the second sprint
but with 8 kms left the break was reeled in
The peleton overtakes the break away
the sprint was launched not long after, MGM's Mathews was boxed, so O'grady was their sprinter. HTC and Vacansoleil were both in good positions too
MGM , HTC and Vacansoleil would fight for the win today
and the winner is...
Boasson Hagen!!!!!

DS Reaction
3rd is a great finish for us as Mathews was boxed, imagine if Mathews hadn't lost O'Grady's wheel. However Dombrowski lost some time todat and now we have one guys in the top 20 in the GC. O'grady is 20th.
today is the first stage with any wills at all, still, it will probable be a sprint stage.
Favorites
*** EBH, Goss, Feillu
** O'grady, Hondo, Haussler
* Mathews, Chicchi, Oss, Bozic
There were many attacks at the start of the race and even up to the intermidiate sprint, there wasn't a BOTD
Talansky takes the sprint
even with 100 killometers left, 2 riders attacked and were the BOTD
Turgot and Ballan pushing it
near the next sprint, the peleton started to up the pace
Ballan takes the sprint easily
Ballan used his gap from the Intermidiate sprint to get away from Turgot
Ballan takes the mountain sprint
a bit after the 10 kms banner, there was some movement in the peleton
Gerrans attacks
then a big crash occured
Matin, Millar, Leiphimer and Fuglsang all fell in this crash
And the winner is..
Ballan takes it after a solo ride

DS-reaction
today was an ok race, Gerrans finished 4th but Roulston, O'grady and Mathews all finished in the main group, however I thought they would challenger for a podium place as they are all good in the hills. |
