I agree. Any predictions for the next Chelsea manager though? |

They'll probably go after Rijkaard or Mancini, maybe with Abramovich's links, they could possibly go after Hiddink. |

bwaahhhahahhah.
Bye bye no talent assholish idiot with the tactical acument of a gnat
Whenever somebody talks about him, an occasion in 2004 always pops into my mind.
Mourinho was guest commentator for portuguese TV. The game was Portugal-Spain, Euro 2004.
He spent the entire game doing tactical analysis and pointing out the gross mistakes on Scolari's tactics.
He also spent the game "magically" anticipating what the opposing manager would do, tactically, a couple of minutes later. He guessed every single one. And commenting on how it took Scolari almost the whole game to notice SOME of those changes after they were made.
Say what you will, the man is a god.

And after that defeat in first game against Greece, Mourinho "told" Scolari what squad to use and Scolari did what Mourinho said.
I thought Abramovich knew something (very little, though) about football.

it would be so funny if they re-hire Avram Grant. The guy did a good job, and they still fired him! So I guess your screwed either way at Chelsea. |

It would be funny if Mourinho returned too, although it wouldn't happen. Even though he didn't exactly inspire confidence Chelsea did well under Avram Grant. To think that a manager can take a team to the champions league final and nearly take them to the premier league title yet still be got rid of is just ridiculous really. Anyway, it seems like Gus Hiddink is the man who will get the job. |

I don't think Guus could take it because of the backlash Roman would get in Russia. Scary! |

Apparently the Russian Federation already gave Roman the ok so now they (Guus and Chelsea) are already in talks.

So I've just been reading. Seems like it'll be a short term arrangement to the end of the season, with Ancelloti coming in after that. |

Meaning Rijkaard will take over Milan probably...

Just to get Deadpool to shoot himself:
This is a CONFIRMED fact. Newcastle wanted Bent from Tottenham. They proposed the unbelievable deal of a straight swap: Obafemi Martins <-> Darren Bent.
Now if you think that kind of stupidity can't be topped by anyone....
Tottenham said no.

I just can't believe this. The two clubs in question do have a unique reputation in terms of strange transfer dealings, though. |

Seems like Ambramovich is feeling the pinch: the current credit crisis has wiped £6 billion off his fortune. Just the £10 billion left, then... |
