@Sutty - Like that for most of the year sadly, being a continental team only we're only really in the .2 races and .1 Spanish races, but we're hoping for some good results this year, and get some good riders in, and hopefully we'll have a better calendar for the next! |

Vuelta a Murcia
Stage 1
Startlist - Leader - Ion Izagirre
- Free - Gorka Izagirre
- Aiert Fresnedoso
- Team mate - Diego Milan Jimenez
- Illart Zuazubiskar
- Jaime Miguel Pericas
A mountainous day today, Ion is our man, we'll do our best today, maybe try for the break to secure another KoM jersey!
Gorka Izagirre goes for the break from the start and is successful, he is joined by Branaa (Burgos) and Barbero (Orbea) all continental Spanish teams are involved!
Gorka Izagirre is going well today, taking the first categorised climbs and even dropping his companions on the way to securing the KoM jersey.
The Movistar team are doing all the work, setting a hard pace at the front shelling out many and preventing any attacks from getting away. Gorka is reeled in.
Over the top of the climb Kiryienka slips away with Belda (Burgos) and Suarez (Columbia) They gain 2 minutes over an 18 man group (Including Ion) in barely any time, they'll fight out for the win.
Kiryienka takes an impressive win, 2 minutes ahead of Ion and the chasing group.

Kattekoers
A flat one day race, with a couple of cobbled sections so we're not expecting any results.
But a massive surprise as Gorka Izagirre puts in an excellent sprint and takes 4th place (somewhere behind Te Brake in the photo), also from Aiert Fresnedoso taking 12th!
1) Remco Te Brake - De Rijke - 4h27'44
2) Leif Hoste - Accent Jobs - s.t
3) Antoine Demoitié - Idemasport - s.t
4) Gorka Izagirre - Xacobeo - s.t
5) Baptiste Planckaert - Landbouwkrediet - s.t
6) Pieter Serry - Topsport Vlaanderen - s.t
7) Bert de Waele - Landbouwkrediet - s.t
8) Nico Eeckhout - An Post-Sean Kelly - s.t
9) Frédéric Amorison - Landbouwkrediet - s.t
10) Tom van Asbroeck - Topsport Vlaanderen - s.t |

Istrian Spring Trophy
Stage 2
A hilly stage, Jon Tiernan-Locke is the overwhelming favourite, but with Ion Izagirre and Gaizka GerekoechevarrÃa here where hoping to outdo him!
With the break way up the road, we contribute to help bring them back, we do after all want this stage!
Illart Zuazubiskar takes a massive turn on the front, he pulls so hard that no-one can even follow him, he's an absolute ox!
Tiernan-Locke is the first of the favourites to attack on the climb to the finish, but he doesn't get a gap, with Fresnedoso pulling on the front, Ion and Gaizka bide their time for the sprint.
But the favourite, Jon Tiernan-Locke takes it from a fast moving Ion who ran out of road, a bit longer and we'd have had it!
Stage
1) Jon Tiernan-Locke - Endura - 4h05'37
2) Ion Izagirre - Xacobeo - s.t.
3) Tomasz Kiendys - CCC - s.t.
4) Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg - MTN - s.t.
5) Sander Oostlander - Jo Piels - +18
6) Alejandro Marque - Carmim-Prio - s.t.
7) Sean Downey - An Post - s.t.
8) Marek Rutkiewicz - CCC - s.t.
9) Gaizka GerekoechevarrÃa - Xacobeo - s.t.
10) Hugo Sabido - LA Antarte - s.t
GC
1) Tomasz Kiendys - CCC - 4h09'56
2) Ion Izagirre - Xacobeo - +8
3) Jon Tiernan-Locke - Endura - +13
4) Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg - MTN - +23
5) Alejandro Marque - Carmim-Prio - +24 |

@Ian Butler - Yep, fills us with confidence for the next hilly stage!
@Sutty - He's doing well, but he's not peaking until September time, so hopefully there's a lot more to come, we're going to try win the Tour of Portugal, it's a big objective of ours!
@Firefly - We're pretty pleased with how things are going, a few more wins would always be nice though!
Conclusion of the Istrian Spring Trophy, Route Loire Atlantique and maybe even some Tour of Normandie coming up today! |
