Pretty dull for a cobbled stage, shame as it could have been great. Croket v Vaitkus for the overall should be a great battle. |

A stage win and 4th overall will do I guess.
Thanks for going through that race with good quality reports. It can't have been fun for for you.

Well, I definately won't complain. Croket finally showed why he gets so much money, but actually Thire and Minard did half the job, excellent stuff.
Congratulations to Cyclevox, very dominant race by Vaitkus.
Thanks mb for getting through that rather boring race, good effort despite having nothing to tell until the sprints.
And now I await the rankings Definately above 200 points here!

beagle should have made a post in his teams HQ as a press release or interview stuff where he says that he is disappointed about Mohs, should have been enough to think now that Mohs reacted to his managers complaints

The cobbled stage did nothing, so Rapha did very well here considering. Blythe still managed a stage win plus 3rd overall, and the lack of gaps made that TTT quite lucrative
---
7 teams were present in the Tour du Faso. Proximus only scored 3 points but looking at the rankings, you can probably guess who 5 of the other 6 were!
Starting at the top. 351 points sends Rapha 2nd - and theyre actually closer to Bianchi than Red Bull now!
Pokerstars move up into 5th scoring 142 and are likely to stay there now - but not yet guaranteed. Only 38 points for UniCredit but that puts them above Venchi - a relief for the Italian squad then that UniCredit dont affect promotion hopes.
Puma scored 306 and enter the Top 10 in 9th. The stage is set for Bennati to fire them above Venchi (albeit with Japan to come).
A stage win for Bpost as Van Loocke rode well, but they remain lonely in 17th after scoring 122.
But wow, look at Cyclevox! Having spent most of the season towards the bottom, theyre suddenly in the Top 20! Vaitkus delivered 318 of their 437 points and they are up SIX to 19th. They started October in 27th!

I can't believe how off I always am with my predictions
And holy shit, Venchi is close. This will be no more than double-digits
between us
And I'm sorry to withdraw my statement that Venchi are safe even without Di Maggio performing, but anything out of Top 5 could make it close
Hollister should be safely kept behind us now, I can't see them taking 88 points anymore, and that's without counting any Taihu points for us.
Holy cow. 9th. That is so huge.

Thanks to late awakening, now we are close to fulfiling of our TOP5 goal. Unfortunately, another goal (my personal favourite one), 15 stage wins, is already out of reach, as Mohs collected 13th & 14th win here...
Congrats to Puma and Cyclevox for their big jumps in CT!
Thanks to mb2612 for reporting, as already said it must have been quite boring to watch.

I entered this race expecting Blythe to dominate, and hoped maybe Vaitkus could challenge him... how wrong was I
Finally, a race win. One of the team's last races, but it'll do And I think Vaitkus has just fully justified our aims of becoming an all baltic team in a season or two.

This is going to be a nail biting end in China and Japan. The way Bennati is the massive favorite in Taihu makes me think Puma will manage it...but you never know with mass sprints in PCM. Will be very interesting. |

Venchi´s Di Maggio is one of favourites in Japan plus it´s HC race. I still fancy Venchi for 7th place.

It's interesting how the rankings have played out with the top five all with established strong all round teams.
However the three 1st season teams in the top ten are largely based on one superstar.
Whilst Unicredit are disbanding you have to 'credit' them with building one hell of a season - you look at their squad and barring the ever consistent Napolitano it's hard to point at marquee talent. Hollister rolled the dice and came up trumps at the Tour of America so they look like snatching the last top ten place.
There seems to be this chasm between Bpost and Saab, teams below that will certainly be getting their thinking hats on for next year!

4 of those teams were strong teams. Mine was just lucky.
