That certainly was a dominant performance at the Sparkassen Giro |

Reimann and Weiss immediately winning. Never have seen this with scouted riders.
Did you change the difficulty level? Reimann performing well in a hard mountain finish? No matter the earlier pace making issue.
Great results of course. Reimann will be beasting on the flat in future.
I actually didn't scouted them, I just signed the top germans from the U23 Ranking^^.
1) Regarding the performance of Reimann:
On stage 2 he had +5. Also consider his stats, they are actually really good, especially resistance and endurance. Another fact is that the new trainees are completely fresh and came also with quite a good form to the team. There are more values which could have an impact on this like the freshness and form of the opponents. So in the end his output on stage 2 isn't really a miracle for me, especially if you consider that he lost over 4 minutes on 10km.
2) On stage 3 Weiss was in a group containing guys with max 62 climbing while he having 65. He was also a lot of time behind the leader, so he could easily gain an advantage of more than 9 minutes. In this escape group he even didn't made any of the pacemaking, so he was resting the whole stage besides the KOM-Sprints. It was just a normal breakaway win if the escapies are enough behind the leader in the general classification, if you ask me.
3) The Contenders attacked not until the "near-top" of joux-plane, so Reimann could stay almost the whole climb with them and got help from Steigmiller on the descent. Generally there were small gaps at that stage, though. Probably 50-60 riders within 2 minutes behind the Moncoutie-group.
Simply said, besides some riders like Moncoutie, Fothen and Kern etc. the cpu-teams came either with weak or out of form riders to the race, while my riders had a good form and apperently some luck. But I agree with you, the outcome of the race was a bit unrealistic but the honest result of just playing as best I could.
And I'm also playing still on hard, but for fairness I have to add the fact that I'd narrowed the advantage of the cpu on hard in the local db a little bit before I started this career. This is why I wrote "edited db". Honestly said, I didn't play PCM12 that much before, so normal was too easy and the regular hard a bit too hard for me^^. But maybe its time to bring that to the regular level as I'm getting apperently a better sense for the game and because of that maybe too good results.
PS: And yeah, Reimann is indeed looking good. Don't know what the stars exactly mean, but looks like he could go to 80 or somewhere about. Oh and sorry for this Biggg text^^

16/09 Rund um Sebnitz 1.2
Very interesting course and short as well. Riemann was considered as a ** Favorit by the game, so hopefully I can prove this. Btw, I replaced the edited Local with safed backup. Now its definitely the regular hard difficulty! Just for the case you take care.
Really fast race, the short distance makes it really hard on everybody. Now on the second last short climb I commanded my riders to bring Reimann up front for a good position.
The sprint was on, Steigmiller had nothing left to help Reimann, who tried to follow this attackers by overtaking Steigmiller on the left-hand side.
Very close downhill sprint and indeed quite hard to see where Reimann finally finished. After a look on the infobox he was placed as 4th. Good result! Btw, thanks to roturn for this nice stage

Another great result.
Every star means like 1-2 stats to train. In some cases even 3 I think.
So he should come above 80. Maybe even 85.
I like the Vattenfall result. Next generation sprinters.
And Australian domination at the Worlds. |

03/10 Sparkassen Münsterland Giro 1.1
So, the last race of the year, at least for my team. I really do not expect to get a good result. The last season-highlight of my riders was back in August, now there are out of form and tired as well. But who knows, don't say never.
The peleton passed the 10km barrier and Matzka & Reimann were in a good position.
Then the attack from Jens Voigt. It decided to follow him with Reimann, but what a mistake...
The Sprint-train upfront wasn't so friendly to let us ride away, they paced us back and Riemann was after this attack already out of energy.
It was up to Matzka, but he also failed in the end. Wrong backwheel and hardly a top 20 finish!

Good luck for the next season. I really like your new squad. Not the best riders but enough I think to reach PCT if you repeat last years results.
Plus Reimann should become a great rider in the 2nd season half.
And great addition with the last mountain time trial. |

Getting ready!
The thuringian cycling team is preparing for the new season. Before they partizipate the first time the south african tour they are already down there to acclimate with the conditions with a 10 day training camp. "The south african tour is going to be a beautiful tour landscape wise, but also very hot for german standards." said the teammanager Bigggassi to the press. "We want to do well, so we have to be assimilated".

Goal
Its quite possible that we came with the strongest team here. Definitely I don't see that much better riders, who we couldn't beat. We are in a great shape, so I think we have to go for as much as possible. |

Stage 1
A small group escaped but caught back very early, then it came to a mass sprint. Reimann was the lead-out man for Arndt, done his job beautiful to bring Arndt up front, before he would settle his sprint...
Really nice! Arndt get his first win of the season, while a strange bug brought me some further good positions (somehow the riders which had 99% normal followed the sprint while sitting and overtook some sprinting guys, very stange indeed).

Arndt in yellow, Reimann in white and the remaining guys working to reduce the gap to the escape group. Everything's under control!
Till now! Arndt had a puncture with very bad timing. The race did just start to get hectically then my leader felt back.
But I commanded immediately 3 guys back to help Arndt to get back. It worked!
Then, just a few kilometers before the finish, Arndt couldn't follow the pace of his train anymore, lost the backwheel and created a gap to the disadvantage of every rider behind him. Reimann and Steigmiller in a very good position!
The sprint started and it looked so easy. 3 on 1, even 4 on 1....
But against all odds, the other rider got the win. However, very happy with the outcome.
