TimoCycling: Yeah, he's in a great shape, Turgot Thanks
fcancellara: Thanks!
ventoux: Thanks, it's definitely something nice on his palmares so early on.
wackojackohighcliffe: As long as he doesn't shoot the pianist, he'll be fine.
alex valceanu: Turgot is doing extremely well!
JuanMotr: Thanks you didn't smell that, did you?
PCM rulezz: Thanks!
Raggieman: I believe in fast starts to get a story going good Thanks!
Miguel98: Thanks
Schleck96: He should win with this field if he wants to be able to compete top 10 in a Tour stage |

Tour de Normandie - Stage 6
I get blocked again, and end up 3th. I should be getting better results in a field like this, but the inexperience of many (including myself) make for chaotic circumstances so the sprint is always hectic and dangerous.
Spoiler game crashed before I could export. No real changes in the classification
Fréderique Chapin
The first of three stages, the flat one (then a TT, then a mountain stage).
My mission is completed: stay with the pack.

It's a pretty good story so far. Hope that there is no odd lost twins and deaths. Much better starting stats than Stijn and Eric. Wish you the best of luck making the Tour de France |

sutty68: I think so, too. But they have to prove themselves more if they want to start at TDF
fred947a:I'll try to keep it more conventional just to be clear: there never was a lost twin brother if there was, he's still lost Thanks! |

Great story man! And I just wanted to ask since people are bitching about it to me on pm's, is it okay for you that the layout on my story look quite similar to yours? I'm trying to keep it as unsimilar as possible, but use something that looks like yours cause I like it and it looks good
RIP Wouter Weylandt, Xavier Tondo, Victor Cabedo.

François Truffaut
Tour de Normandie - Stage 7
The one but last chance for another win.
We set up quite an impressive lead-out train. With 7/8 U25 riders, that's quite an achievement.
Pelucchi leads me out.
But once again, I do not impress. However, I'm quite young and new to the professional milieu, so I still have some time left to get used to it. Hope it's soon, though.

Critérium International
A time trial. Lucky for me, it's quite short. Since I rely on power more than anything else in cycling, I may have a decent result here.
It's great to have the National Champion in the team. However, Kern did not impress today.
I took off a bit too fast and slowed down near the end. No matter, I knew from the start that this wasn't my racket.

François Truffaut
The final stage, I hope I can defend this leader's jersey.
Because of an extremely thick fog, all pictures are useless. Moncoutié avoided the mass sprint. I had another off-day, but I was able to keep the leader's jersey and the points jersey, so I'm not complaining, I still have plenty of time left to get into a great shape!

It's actually pretty cool. I only won 1 stage but winning a general classification is something special, I'm glad I did it!
Fréderique Chapin
What a stage. My task of the day is stay with Rolland in the first part of the race. Then I might go in the offense, to put some pressure on the competition.
Charteau managed to get into the breakaway and get many KoM points.
With 55km left to go, the breakaway group was narrowed down to 4 riders.
Charteau was the strongest of them all and went solo.
He secured his KoM jersey, another good result for the team there!
As I was moving up in order to try and break away, I got some trouble with my gear, and I tried to fix it quickly.
Unfortunately I had to ask for backup, as I couldn't do it alone.
It was fixed pretty quickly, but the race was over just as quickly for me. I had lost contact with the front group, who weren't waiting for some unknown rider to fix his bike.
It turned out not to be such a big deal, as Rolland went into the attack himself.
He finished solo.
I convinced Sylvain Georges and Samuel Dumoulin to do a little sprint with me, just to test our legs (it was only for the 25th place) I'm happy to say I won!

Well, I was pretty useless to the team in this stage race, but I don't let it worry me. I still have plenty of chances left to try and secure my Tour de France-spot. The fact that the manager says you really have to earn that spot is a great thing, in my opinion. It motivates every rider of the team to ride every race as good as possible!
François and Fréderique
The team had a sort of meeting, to evaluate the season so far. The main things said were the stunning performances of Rolland, Voeckler and Turgot. The team is now certain of its goal: top 3 in continental ranking, top 20 in Superprestige ranking and nothing less than promotion to ProTour. Promotion would also be a big step for us, as we would walk into a much tougher competition. So this year is not only about unfolding our potential, but also a preparation for next year.
François' stage win in Normandie also got mentioned, as a great result for a debut rider.
See you later! |
