Course plays nicely - should be a good elite race aswell.
Happy with 6th for Skujins - he can go better in future if we have hills next year. Top 15 finish for Kirsch aswell is good.
And lol, Betancourt - clearly the experience gained from being in the TTT squad helped him out on the Muur today!

That was some good racing from the Belgians, and a well deserved win for Eeckhout and Wikipedia.
And the conditions and route looked really great gameplaywise, looking very much forward to see how the Elite race unfolds. |

11th place for Leight Howard is a quite decent result but I am way more happy with expectations for the elite race. Bewley's chances are looking quite good with Boonen's absence.

I forgot Kennaugh wasn't that bad on the cobbles. Fun race. |

That was good, would have expected Dillier to do a little better, but what an interesting race anyway. Really looking forward to the elite race, even if none of my riders will stand a chance. I guess I just hope my Swiss guys can help Cancellara win

Some epic reporting so far with the World's - well done.
Elite race really is Cancellara's to lose - real shame Boonen is not there after the season he's had. |

Proud of my guys. Working all day for Eeckhout to take the win and still ending up with Van Keirsbulck in fourth. That makes me confident that he can one day match it with the best on the cobbles.

That was a great race, the course does a very good job!
Congratulations to all medal winners
Personally, I am pleased with my stagiare Hnik who held on well to 15th and Le Gac in the break, more wasn't to be expected as soon as Bouhanni lost contact.

Navarro couldn't do much, but still a finish in the big pack. Some of the cobbling must have rubbed off.

Congatulations to roturn, brilliant result for him and Boom in an incredibly tense race! Now the question has to be asked - will he be staying at Rothaus or will there be a new home for the world champion?
Also marvellous work on the stage mate, it was a hell of a thing to watch and report on.
I'm a bit disappointed with Vanspeybrouck's result of 6th in the end, but once I realised that it would come down to a sprint I knew that there would be better men there.

I agree, it is generally how '11 seems to work, but there was a moment when I was racing this with about 400m to go when I said out loud "holy shit, Burghardt is going to catch him." The tension in the last 5km was incredible. I hope I got some of that across.

Yeah, it was an amazing report btw.
And you're right. If these kinds of breaks aren't caught instantly, they go very far.
