Tour de San Luis
Stage 5
Here is our squad they are getting to the shape pretty nicely:
Race favourites and profile:
Today´s stage started usually.
Several guys were trying to get in the BOD of the day but only 4 of them made it.
´´Lloyd,M.Wynnants,De la Fuente and A.Bertolini´´
They soon created a big gap.
With 100 km to go it was 7:30, but with A.Bertolini being only 2,42 behing DeGendt Katusha started to chase.
So with 50 km it was only 4:20.
But then the BOD started to cooperate really great and with 15km left they had still more than 3 minutes on the peloton.
´´Saxobank and Katusha in charge´´
5km to go now and it looked good for the breakaway.
But right before the 5km banner Contador atacked.
Only Voeckler,Moreno and Schleck counters.
But after 2km they are back in the peloton.
BOD is still 1:30 in front and only have 2 kms to go but those with average of 15% .
´´1.5km to go pack is coming fast.´´
Rein Taaramae is really badly placed as none of the teammates is strong enough to help him. But he never give up and get to the wheel of his old teammate. Yes! Gusev is one that try to place him better.
0.5 km left and this is a really weird sprint finnish.
The BOD got caught right in front of the line.
Rein is trying to win but he is stucked.
So Contador is the first one to get through the finnishing line.
´´Contador 1st, Schleck 2nd and Gallopin 3rd´´

Tour de San Luis
Stage 6
Squad:
Profile:
Today wanted to make it different so we send Smukulis into the BOD.
After 3km he was joined by Kreuziger,Fuglsang,Pineu and Ruben Chavez.
They soon created a big lead and on top of the climb of the day they had 10,34 on the peloton.
Fuglsang won mountain sprint and won 16 points.
With 38km to go lead was still over 3minutes.
When you look at the profile you can see a small hill just before the long downhill. That was the place Rein needed. He was launched by Kritskiy.
Meanwhile that Smukulis let his fellow escapeas go and waited for Rein.
Rein soon created gap of 40 seconds. 10km before the finnish Rein joined Smukulis. He gave his all but the peloton was nearing.
´´GUSEV in charge of the peloton´´
6 km before the line Rein was caught by the peloton.
After another 2km it was all in one piece.
So we headed to sprint finnish.
´´T.Gallopin and T. Voeckler leading the pack´´
Gallopin is giving his all but will it be enough to win over such a fighter as Thomas?
´´No´´
Thomas is the winner of the 6th stage in San Luis.
Galimzyanov finnished on a nice 7th place.
Stage:
1,Thomas Veockler
2,Alexandre Pichot
3,Tony Gallopin
No GC changes.
Race Review: Our plan didn´t work out as expected but atleast we tried.

Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise
Profile:
Squad:
Favourites:
Freire is the biggest favourite for today. Will he live up to expectaitions?
Pace was really high first 50kms as peloton didn´t wanted to let break get too big.
Than 7 riders created BOD none of them was a big favourite so pack gave them 4 minutes.
But after another 20 kms new attacks appeard.
Peloton up the pace mostly in charge by Radio-shack.
7 riders all one by one attacked out of the pack.
It took them only 10kms to close the gap and created a big 13 men breakaway.
Before the last climb lead was only 1 minute.
There were a lot of attacks but none of them were such hard and fast as the one by Gerdemann
He had soon 30 seconds to the pack and with only downhill to the finish it looked promising.
We tried to give Freire best possible lead out and quite worked out.
With 2kms to go Gerdemann still had 20 seconds to the pack.
Freire was well placed behind Simon Spilak.
He started to sprint under 1km banner.
Gerdemann was trying hard but with 200m to go he was caught.
It was between Freire and Vichot.
Who won?
Óscar Freire Gómez!! Won his second stage of the year.
Stage:
1 | Óscar Freire Gómez | T.CS Bank - OJSC Rosneft | 3h35'13 | 2 | Arthur Vichot | FDJ-Big Mat | s.t. | 3 | Linus Gerdemann | RadioShack-Nissan | s.t. | 4 | Simon Špilak | Katusha Team | s.t. | 5 | Ben Hermans | RadioShack-Nissan | s.t. | 6 | Michael Albasini | Orica GreenEDGE | s.t. | 7 | Blel Kadri | Ag2r La Mondiale | s.t. | 8 | Nairo Alexander Quintana Rojas | Movistar Team | s.t. | 9 | Elia Favilli | Farnese Vini - Selle Italia | s.t. | 10 | Paul Martens | Omega Pharma-QuickStep | s.t. |

Tour de San Luis
Stage 7
Squad:
Profile and Favourites:
Right from the start 4 riders attacked.
They soon created 2 minute gap and thus created BOTD.
´´ Cunego, Karpets, Brambilla and Chiarini´´
After 50 kms they had gap of 6 minutes.
They cooperate really well and after another 50kms they have been 8 minutes in front.
They were nearly sure of the win as with 30 kms to go they still had 5 minutes.
With 12 km to go Cunego decided to attack.
He soon created 30 seconds gap.
We made really nice train and for few seconds other riders couldn´t even keep up with us.
Cunego took his deserved win after he outsmarted everyone.
Back in the pack. Rein Taaramae was leading out Galimzyanov.
Galimzyanov was trying really hard but Gallopin was just too strong in this years San Luis.
´´Gallopin winning sprint for 5th place.´´
