Things are shittier than 5 months ago. Now, we're losing 2-1 with Israel, we have Varela and Postiga in the team, and this idiot on the bench. Seriously, this guy has good results in the first 2 years, but after that, it's awful. Happened with Sporting. |

The national coach haters are always ready to spit on the team when the results are not good.
Today we saw Portugal scoring in the second minute. Then clearly dominating. Israel counter attacks then...1-1. Portugal attacks again with at least 2 clear chances missed and on the injury time of the first half...2-1 to Israel on a ball lost on the defense. Portugal desperately attacked missing, missing, missing, until on injury time a headed ball goes to the bar, and faith and persistence made Coentrão put is leg so it rebounded to the net. 3-3. A point saved and a direct opponent did NOT gain advantage to us.
This was the game i saw, result isn't good, but at least...we have our way to playoffs but before we have to clear some things with Russia.

Postiga is a better CB then ST ahahah. With guys like Pizzi on the bench, I can't understand why he is playing. Portugal would be a much better team if they used a counter-attack tactic like Real Madrid. Our players are much better in an offensive transition than in a slow ball possession tactic. |

When the groups where decided I read a headline that said "Norway draws nightmare group!". I was wondering if we somehow had got the Netherlands, Germany and Spain all in one group, untill I saw that the "nightmare group" consisted of Albania and Cyprus...

The Netherlands are about through. 4 games left, 7 points ahead on the nr. 2.
I like that, though the group is quite weak...
