Baaaam I love William Ford, great 3rd in stage and being in yellow.. reminds me of Tour of Taiwan earlier this season, where he managed to fight for a podium in final GC. So.. hoping for the same here
@CountArach: If you're going to create a fan club, I'm all in

That's great to see, although it's scary that Boonen didn't lose much time in the finale... |

Almost a stage win for Joly - that would have been a very cool bonus.
The KOM for a couple of days was nice too - a lot more than I expected. The points on offer for some of the climbs here though are completely whack. |

Great for Bookwalter to be in a strong break and have a chance to hang on to a good GC place, especially with Van Garderen struggling. Great for Ford and Oz

I'll try again and inquire about the status of proceedings here?

The last stage simply doesn't want to finish, seems like the fan wasn't the only problem (or is again).
6 and 7 reports are 95% done, but I'm not sure whether to post them until I know I can finish the race...

You could upload the save game, finish stage 6 and 7 and let someome else try the final stage.
So the other one, I am sure we will find a volunteer here, could make the final report. |

Any news on what will happen to this race? Can't Cio just upload the savegame for someone else to complete the race?

Hello again guys, in case you haven't seen it yet.
Explanation: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_583652
So I'll update my laptop over night big time and give it a very very last try. If it fails again, the files will be uploaded then and stages 6 and 7 (though with reduced report detail) posted.

Believe it or not, somehow I managed to get through stage 8.
I can't reconstruct what exactly caused the game to crash every time, but after pretty much resetting the whole PC, I was able to finish it.
Apologies go out to everyone for the massive delay I'm very ashamed of.
I know this is the worst possible start for a new reporter and a huge delay for the season as a whole, and I therefore temporarily resign from that task until I'm 100% sure my computer and my calendar as well can handle the requirements.
Apologies as well for the rather weak image quality over the whole race, but especially on stage 8, as I did it with the worst detail levels to ensure finishing it.
Lastly, apologies to especially Roturn and SN for bothering them with this issue.
Thanks a lot for your efforts in trying to help me, that is very appreciated. I am sorry I had to take up some of your time.
I still hope you enjoy the last reports, which I have to stack this way as I'm on my way to the airport in less than 4 hours without sleeping anymore.
And finally,
Spoiler huge congratulations to The Oz Cycling Project for writing history!
It was a massive effort by a heavily challenged team as a whole, and Ford combined luck and strenght to make it to the end in that superb field.

I don't care about the picture quality...Duret is such a boss! Can't believe a guy on a 50,000 contract has been so consistently successful.
Well done for getting through all that in the end. |

Thanks, cio93, for both finishing the reports despite having those crash-troubles and (of course) for the congrats on my team's effort Well, what can I say except of ? I will most probably finish last in Cont-League.. and now.. Get me another smiley and I will post this one, too Winning out of a break is always lucky, but well done Ford and the whole team for keeping the lead. (A nice way to go to bed!)

What an odd race. Im very happy to see a CT team taking the points, and well its also very cool to see them winning just for the underdog aspect. It all made for a stange and interesting race.
But I couldn't be happier with Rubens Bertogliati here! Schumacher disappointed quite a bit, but I love to see my Swiss domestiques coming up big for us all year (Albasini, Tschopp in the Tour, and now Bertogliati).
