the fact that sagan is here looks like the setup for a nibali attack, where sagan waits to pace him down the grand colombier.
Cetainly looks like RSNT have some thing planned to, Voigt and Popovych could set great pace for a guy like Schleck.
Evans have a couple of men there to.
Why are sky letting this break go, to much confidence i guess!!!
Sagan would slow Nibali down downhill as well as up the mountain. He isn't a slouch downhill, but Nibali is an absolute bullet.
I'm not sure of that. Sagan is very fast going downhill as well.

True, he is not like Nibali, still very fast kamikaze...

Like I said, he is good downhill. But Nibali is arguably the world's best descender

Are you sure i never seen bike handling skills like sagan before, try to watch some of his offroad racing. Think he would be great for the Colombier descent, then nibali goes alone on the last mountain.

Sagan for the stagewin, anyone? That guy is unlimited.
I think these climbs are too much for him. He'll go for the intermediate sprint and then drop back on the Grand Colombier. At least I think so, but you never know with him.
So do I, but as you mentioned, Sagan is rather unpredictable |

Kirby called Wiggins "Our fearless leader"
WTF is this? A dictatorship?

Hushovd and Cancellara are better, imo. Sagan must be very close to Nibbles.

Sagan and BMC guys in the break (among others)
kinda think Lotto have missed a trick though
but can't help think that these will get pulled back around the top of the Colombier anyway (with Evans and Nibbles charging down the descent to get Sagan, Burghardt and Cummings to help up the last mountain) |

can't see why Sagan wouldn't work after the sprint
his team leader needs him up there
and he can just ride in the gruppeto tomorrow, he'll have a light day |

Remember the stage when Thomas de Gendt won in Tour de Suisse 2011? Sagan made it through HC Climb with Andy Schleck |

I saw Kessiakoff attacking right from the depart fictif when eurosport showed the highlights of the start. So he propably wanted to be in this break but failed to do so. |

I don't know what you're looking at. Sagan came 92nd that day and Schleck was 2nd. 16'40" separated them.

Maybe i got confused myself , but i think Sagan was once in the break on the mountain stage of Tour de Suisse and did well.
I found it:

Yeah, true. But was it also in Suisse when he won the mountain stage by catching and cracking Cunego on the descent? But he will rather pull off today...

And that's why Jens Voigt is PCM.Daily Favourite Cyclist, handing out a bottle when the BMC rider missed his bag.
What a nice guy
