The road race will be from one man. Peter Sagan. And I can tell you that he is going to sprint away from everybody else, with 100 metres to go, he will do a Michael Jackson dance and if he has time (which he will) he will also do the Macarena After that he will tell the interviewers (with his amazing English) that 'he only think about bike.'
The problem is that he has no domestiques so he has to get all the bidons and do any chasing if he is dropped at any point and hide behind other teams from the wind, as well as having no one to set him up in position. So I don't think he will win it.

Dropped?Funny one
Nah, just kidding, you are right, i said almost the same as you a page ago, but nobody seems to read my "fanboy articles". I think they can help themselves with czech duo.
And how it is at Olympics with neutral help, i thought he should be able to get drinks from neutrals along the road? To be honest i dont like this system much, i would like to see for example 3 cyclists from every country, to make the race even in the spirit of olympic games...

I think the Czechians(is that correct? XD) will work for Sagan. But it won't really matter as Sagan is still the best. I think also something happened like this in the year where Ekimov was world champion. He was also alone and he cooperated with somebody else. And he won. I can see it going like this. However, the British army is also strong. It will be an exciting race.

Does anyone know how many Liquigas riders are riding the RR. I think that some of them might be willing to help Sagan in the right circumstances.

Bodnar or even Duggan could work for him. I don't see Vincenzo and Viviani working for him.

The only way Sagan would win is if Cavs and Greipel are dropped, Sagan just isnt fast enough.
Id be surprised if Dugan worked for Sagan instead of Farrar
Nibali will be attacking away from the peloton, so not much help
Viviani might work, but wont sacrifice his own chances for sagan imo
On track cycling. It seems the Australians are just as scared of the Germans as they are of the Brits. Which i thought was interesting

Nibali and Viviani will both have hopes for a good result, so they won't help. And lokytrew, I think you just say 'the Czechs'.

Viviani is riding on the Track, not the Road

Czechs definitely will not work for Sagan. Between our countries is a great rivalry. |

What are you people talking about. Nibali and Viviani or other helping a Slovak to win the olympics , that's just ridicilous. Viviani and Nibali has a good chance of doing great for themselves + if they are helping someone (Modolo) they are helping their country not a Slovak even if they are on the same team.

In many cases, people care about helping their friends more than about helping their country. I bet that could be the case of a certain Austrian rider.

Yeah maybe, Eisel might, but Nibali and Viviani wouldn't. Not a chance. |

Until yesterday riders could not test at the whole circuit because of traffic.
if we add the korean flag mistake... not a good start for the olympics. |

It would be chaos if they closed roads significantly in advance, just to allow more practice.

yup, not many road races will shut roads days before so the riders can do the course.
London is one of the biggest cities in the world, yes there is a lot of traffic. It'd be 10x worse if we closed off the roads though

Yeah that post really messes with my window's formatting. Can you please remove some of the letters or at least put some spaces in there?
