Now, if my memory serves there are no WT points for holding the mountain jersey, right? Can someone clarrify this form me? Obviously, Morkov is out there mostly for publicity (which would help to ensure any future wildcards that Saxobank may need).
The Tour got more money to spend out for the teams, so there is also for example more money for wearing the jersey through the stages.

I'm surprised there aren't more RSNT boys trying to attack then. They probably haven't been paid in a while

I think they would need to win the Tour and every jersey to have a bit compensation for the salary that isn't paid

You got your answer from here
Amazing sight here - eight RadioShack riders at the front of the chasing group...

Brajkovic is the first casualty of the day. No injuries though and back racing.

Anyone else who think the peloton isn't interested enough to chase down the break today? |

And let Grivko wear yellow? I don't think so.

I love the name on Peter Sagans bike, the "Tourminator."

I don't think the break got any chance, even if Grivko wasn't there.
Eddy might have this as his only last shot on his own, Sagan wants to win, Gilbert wants to win. Valverde probably also, and Chavanel might want to try something aswell...
Cancellara obviously want the jersey, so Grivko cannot win by more than ~ 30 seconds. And if they are that close, why not take them all back and go for the stage for Cancellara also. He was the strongest up the hill on stage 1, so the 7% 700m. finish should also suit him fairly well. Not as well as Sagan though.

This. Too many hungry teams to let them go all the way...

Rain is predicted for the finish/other parts of the race.
Let's hope it stays dry, though! |

If it is raining near the end I can see 1 or 2 GC contenders crashing out on those narrow roads. Let's hope it doesn't happen though!

Funny ...second commentator at czech televison today (i just turn it on, so i am not sure who it is, but sounds like Padrnos) told the story about how he was with Sagan on training once and only.
They were at the 15% or more gradient on the short hill and Sagan rode a while only on his back wheel and was answering a phone call at the same time. Sounds like some parody shite

Eisel intentionally boxing Sagan in there, as well as trying to shoulder him off Cavendish's wheel.

Greenedge tried to do too big a leadout, and it cost them.
