It's been an epic stage race so far, with great victories by Luis Leon. I was hoping he could reach the TT with a 30 second gap to Pellizotti, but I'm really pleased he only lost some bonus seconds in the queen stage.
It's all up for grabs yet imo. Let's see what kind of gaps does the TT bring.
also great reports ember, thank you very much for the fast tempo

Stage 7 is just hilarÃous... Cucinotta in a perfect position for the sprint and then not even a top10 and being outsprinted by mainly climbers. This is such a rubbish PCM for sprint finishes sometimes...
At least Passeron did well once again.
Stage 8 didn`t went too well for us. Novak couldn`t get more points and I had hoped for an attack by Ruijgh today. Unfortunately top20 seems to be the maximum. |

I'm extremely sorry for not having the 4 final screenshots I was sure I took for stage 9. At least it was a lesson learned, and I'll start to check if the picture actually has been taken or not for every picture now, not for every 4th - 8th like I've used to do.
Especially sorry for you, roturn.
Stage 10 will be up later today (evening), when I'm back from a "rescue attempt test" (no clue what it's called in English) |

No need to feel sorry.
I still got that stage win.
Brilliant finish by Willems. Brilliant ride by him.
Good move if the team realizes that Rothaus can`t sprint well in sprint finishes. |

Another flat stage offered to the escapees. This has been a real waste of race days for the few sprinters brought here, except Marinangeli obviously.
Oh well there's still a GC to fight for

Great effort from Bol, I already thought another chance for a good result was wasted.

Costa does it again, if people weren't aware he isn't that great of a TT guy. I'm very surprised at how much the home crowds are pushing him.

Perhaps Eastman can swap timing chips with Costa, and the results could be amended
Eastman is still going to lose time on the last stage. Hopefully not too much.

Congrats to Cerne. Just what they needed to kick off their season.
A completely forgettable race for us.

Well I don't mind that much if we clinch this one in the next stage. Like they say: better late than never.

On the whole this race was a success. If Stetina can do something similar in Burgos I'd be over the moon. By my count, that's around 200 points, and it would have been more if someone had kept the break honest. Combined with the 150 or so we got from Limousin I'd call that a successful couple of races. Cross our fingers that Pologne finishes well, and Burgos isn't a flop.

Cuapio jumps all the way to 9th overall because of the breakaway
Never saw that coming, but it looks like we will fail all our goals this season...

A somewhat disappointing race in the overall ranking for us, but the earlier stages were so good I can't complain too much. Just bad luck befell our two leaders. Richardson outperformed himself.
Congrats to Cerne, though. Was cool to see some different names to usual fighting it out for the overall.

Great reporting the whole time ember and congrats to Cerne.
Shit race for my team. De Greef getting into the break and then leading out. Sigh.
