They do almost everywhere, in fact it is, but we sorted that out earlier
Just because you were taught incorrectly does not make it correct

You are a bit stubborn, aren't you? There are different optics what is and what is not desert in some areas of Europe and different languages (areas with miminum precipitations covered with snow are called polar wastelands, not deserts in Central and East European education system) .
So nothing is more correct than the rest. I can say similar as you, that when it is written on english wikipedia, it does not mean it is correct...

Go to Wikipedia. Pick a language. They may draw a distinction between the different types of desert (as they do in English), but they all fall under desert. Because desert is a technically definition about precipitation levels, the definition does not vary between countries.

Thank you for bringing nationality into this. That's very mature, and has everything to do with whether a technical definition is correct or not.

And anyway, the British aren't always right. Look at Bruce Forsyth, there's nothing right about that.

I'm not even 100% British. But I'm normally 100% right.

hmmmm... I was gonna do this, but I wasn't completely sure on any of them. Even the one about the USA. I assumed that English was just the official language, as only the illegal immagrants from Mexico can't speak it nowadays

USA question costed me 2 points. Never heard such an information and guessed badly
Also Samoa and Tajiki question fail, too exotic countries.

Same here. Had no idea about that one.
But still quite pleased with 9 points. Guessed on one or two, but knew most of them.

Same with the USA. And with Tajik I thought it was too obvious so went for Russian. Damn
