Very good playing there! Gossy seems already in top-condition if you see the names he beats! Smile
This story looks very promising; I like the way you write and of course the screens are great!
This makes me eager to start my own story Grin

I think leave it at hard until March. That's where real racing begins, and GE don't have the strongest squad.

Very nice reports mate Wink You're improving with your screens and getting the results. God on you Wink

I'll probably do that , thanks Wink

& Glad you're liking it , I'm learning it so it should get even better , and indeed the result are very good now , hope they stay so good Smile

Today we get another 'flat' stage , will most likely end up in a mass sprint , can Goss take his second win or did Cav find his shape back ? Our tactic is simple , Goss tries to take both intermediate sprints and the final sprint . Gerrans has to finish in the bunch so he keeps he's overall lead and maybe it's weird but we're not taking the risk of losing a good man at the final by defending Langeveld's KoM jersey ..

Race Report

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0096.jpg
Except Goss taking 1 intermediate sprint , nothing happens today , and so we're in the last 18 kilometres ! All favorites in the front , Goss in 2nd position.

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0097.jpg
While Lampre and SKY are putting up there sprint train , Goss does something unbelievable , he just launches himself with 3 km to go ! Here you can see Goss passing the Lampre train by himself , he's going extremely fast but will it be enough ??

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0098.jpg
He gets ahead a little bit , will Lampre catch him or he's going to celebrate ?

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0099.jpg
Lampre is catching up on Goss , 500 m to go ... Will they pass him or not is the question.

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0100.jpg
It's very close till the end but Goss finishes 2nd , still a fantastic move , when you see how Cavendish is struggling with this tempo .

Noo , I'm not happy at all , I asked Goss to wait until Alessandro would make his move and Goss just had to jump on his wheel but he didn't listen to me and made a stupid move that costed us a victory . Matthew (Goss) is a good boy but he has to learn that when we ask him something , he has to listen ! If he would have won , I would feel a bit better but I would still talk to him about this . I'll see you tomorrow mate !

Yeah, going to early in PCM very likely costs victory or a good placement.
But You are absolutely dominating TdU actually, all jerseys.
Just hang on with Gerrans on Willunga-Hill and everything should be in the pocket Wink

Indeed , I just saw that Lampre was slowing down so I was thinking : let's suprise them but they weren't really suprised WinkAnd that's the plan , next stage will be for Gerrans and the final stage will be for Goss again Wink

Today is D-DAY for us , today the GC will be decided , it's looking good for us , we're having the overall leader and we want to keep it like that ! Today's tactic is simple , Goss tries to take both intermediate sprints and Gerrans just stays in front while the other teammembers make sure there are no breakaways in the last 20 kilometres because with this stage you never know , lets hope we're going to end this stage with an #1 overall and then there's one thing that rests us , defend Gosses points jersey , we're not going to specially defend the climbing jersey but it would be a nice bonus !

Race Report

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0104-kopie.jpg
Today's a sunny day and the peloton is riding very slow , time to show off the jerseys ..

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0106-kopie.jpg
And some more time ... what a boring day !

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0105-kopie.jpg
We gotta wait until the first intermediate sprint for the first bit of action , Goss takes it and some kilometres he would also take the next sprint !

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0110-kopie.jpg
Lots of boring kilometres later it's time for Langeveld to take some more KoM points .

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0107-kopie.jpg
But then finally there's some action , 2 riders try to breakaway , O'Grady jumps on their wheel , takes the lead and slows them down , Gerrans must make his move now !

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0111-kopie.jpg
And he does , 2 kilometres to go , Gerrans launches himself , will it be enough for victory ?

i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o619/Absintlover/PCM0112-kopie.jpg
Yes it is ! Gerrans finishes solo , takes some more second and is now pretty sure he's the winner of this years TdU .

Normally here would be the teamleaders commentary but I'm not going to keep doing that , why ? It's simple : I really dont know what to say anymore after 4 races already !I got so less inspiration for this one but I defintely want something to replace this , what that will be is up to you guys , tell me what you would think I should do special at the end of each report to make is cooler to read , I'll presentate the winner together with the review of January and the Preview of February . And I can also tell you guys that I'm going to put the difficulty on extreme after the final stage of the TdU , the only reason for this is , it's too easy ! I hope you guys are going to give me ideas for the replacement of teamleaders commentary ! ENJOY :)

Great victory, good luck at extreme too Wink Well you don't have to put commentary at the end of each stage, just the biggest stages etc.

Not necessarily more fun for us. But it's just more realistic, because when you played on hard it seemed that Gerrans had no opposition at all with is weird because Uran and Vino are at least equal to Simon Wink
You shouldn't raise the level just for us, you need to feel comfortable with it. So you won't getting tired of this team because you never win, and just the opposite if you get tired of this team because you always win with almost no opposition.
But as a reader of quite a few stories here on PCM.Daily i think Extreme is the most realistic level on the game and it does come with realistic results, so i prefer to read a story of a team who is bait struggling to win on extreme than a team who is dominating on hard Smile
