If you consider today's Amstel, on the last 50 m footage you could probably see that motorbikes took more place on the screen than the riders. Probably the organisers thought the riders might choose a wrong road there, or needed moto cameras in addition to the stable cameras they were using...
So yes, it's interesting to know what we'll see on our screens during the upcoming Giro.

Impressive that there's still people dumb enough to test positive for EPO. Great job Denis.

Didn't see that one coming. It sucks a lot though, as I saw him as a big talent.

Well, at least they've shot down another cheater.

Katusha and their policy of dopers paying back 5 years salary seems to be making them money. Very shady.

That's got to be set up, it's well-known that sprinters don't dope.

Who became Katusha General Manager at the end of 2011 - Hans-Michael Holczer ( manager of Team Gerolsteiner from 1998 to 2008 ) Wink Tells quite a bit of this story.

Plus Erik Zabel is in charge of the Sprinters. Wink

In that case Katusha are doomed, expecting Gerolsteiner all over again at the TDF if Katusha don't get the results they want Grin

Have some Katusha riders gotten involved in the past ?
Were some staff members been involved in doping scandals ?
Have some Katusha riders found a new motivation/way of training/youth at Katusha ?

Oh well, enough said...

Katusha Riders Past and Present linked to doping:

Marco Bandiera - Mantova Investigation
Giampaolo Caruso - Positive for Nandrolone and on Puerto list
Toni Colom - Bio passport and EPO
Denis Galimzyanov - EPO
Vladimir Gusev - Irregular Values
Serguei Ivanov - High Hematocrit
Alexandr Kolobnev - HCT
Luca Paolini - Como raids
Evgeni Petrov - High Hematocrit
Christian Pfannberger - EPO

Add in that as Tinkoff they had the likes of Hamilton, Hondo and Jaksche, certainly looks dirty.

Oh please, everyone trying to point at Holczer or Zabel..
Do you really think they say to their riders "Dope or you are out"?

This test says "You can do anything against doping, but doping will be still in sports and there is no 100% way to get rid of doping completly at cycling"

No they are not saying that, but hiring Holczer is not the smartest thing if you want to give a good image of the team.

Anyway I cant say i trust some of the performances on Kathusa team, but anyway sad for Russian cycling.

Indeed, it never made sense to me either.

Saxo Bank thinks the Eneco Tour suits Contador this year.

All we know so far is that there is a stage finish on the Muur van Geraardsbergen and a TTT.
Interesting I suppose.
