Brajkovic came in with 40 seconds to Larsson. That´s quite disappointing, I guess |

Maybe, but it also says something about the amount of risk the riders dare to take. |

Well felix_29 pointed out Wiggins was taking corners quite safe earlier and he did. Similarly to Martin, he's just in better form right now imo.
Tony Martin would not have won this time trial no matter what. Wiggins was simply better.

I'm not saying Wiggins wasn't better. It's just that Martin would've been way closer if it wasn't raining. Martin was going very cautious, even more than Wiggins. |

Great to see Vacansoleil with some good points on the board already! This race has been good to them in the last couple of years.

Wiggins is British. He is used to the rain!

That doesn't make Brits able to bend physics laws further than other people. You get grip on a wet road up to a certain point. Past that point you slide, then you fall.
Martin hasn't shown a huge form this year. It seems he'll peak later than last year. Maybe three weeks later, so that he's average/good in Switzerland, and then in top form at the Tour de France ? |

Don't you think I know that? It was a joke...
Wiggins said this on the Team Sky website:
"I didn’t take any risks in the corners but I knew in a straight line I was flying. I wasn’t willing to find out whether it was slippery so I never really pushed it as hard as I could have done in the corners. I'd already slipped on the ramp coming off the start, so straight away I had one mind on safety in the corners. Fortunately there weren’t so many corners so it wasn’t as decisive."

Well, being used to ride in wet roads make you get closer to the limit and have your limit further away. If you're a good bike handler that is.
